Much better article. This one got me excited. Some interesting points I wanted to highlight: 1. Definately still has generals. 2. Target ship date is February 2009. 3. Persistant achievemants and items!!!! 4. 8 maps on release, some wide open and some confing. <span style="font-s

The new article also posted today for IGN/RPG Vault clears up a ton of questions. Overall it is a much better interview. There are generals and I feel far more excited after reading that article. I have never been to gamezone before, but the article really did not seem on par with most Q&A articles I have read. It is all feeling, but to me they are two interviews about the same game, with the same person, and
I guess my problem is with vagueness. General or no? Racing? Nothing is really wrong with the article it is just way light on substance and can easily be misinterprated.
we shouldn't jump to conclusions just yet I think, it may turn out cool and strategical.
You're right, and this article does not seem to be well written. Unfortunately, there has ben no update in the official diaries. Even if they ditch generals, I think the game could be very cool, I just had my heart set on generals type character. That way me and my friend could play and both have a blast.
From this article I see that RTS idea is dead if I read the article right the rest of the Demigods will not be generals and the minions will not have any micro. I am still waiting for the official word, but for me that was one of the main selling points. RPG Hero game and RTS Her
I play way more the first week, maybe 10 games, it decreses steadily after that. This week I may play a round or two.
I took 'racing' to mean racing tower defense style, competing to get to enemy base first... As TBO says, sounds like you guys are backing off of generals and just going straight assassins? Nevermind, if I can adjust the tire pressure of the Rook, I love the idea. JK. I think if that is what they meant, the better term would be RPG. Maybe they want a wider audience, in that article they stated it is a hybrid RTS and RPG with single player elements of Racing and Fighting (arcade Fighter) games . That is truly something for everyone. [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digi
Finally a new journal entry and it's just an interview? Anyways, I have a few thoughts on this interview: 1. What will the single-player campaign be like? MM: Single-player will be a mixture of gameplay elements possessed by fighting games and racing games. What the hell does that mean? Seriosly, I hope you play different types of racing games they I do, or your vision is crazy
The point was not to close the thread because it was TOO negative. I just wanted people to realize that they were not going to change anyone's mind and that the thread should be allowed to die. Feel free to continue to discuss, but both sides have clearly been discussed.
This is already there plan. Currently the four demigods are "assassins". They focus on personal combat. The other four demigods are generals. They can recriut their own army and command them. They upgrade units and can appluy buffs or healing.
Thanks all!!! [e digicons]:D[/e]
Clearly we have some differing opinions. We know stardocks official stance some of us think it is fair, even overly generous, and others think it stinks. We clearly aren't goning to change minds here, so let's stop posting. /CLOSE THREAD
Making a duplicate bug report is better than running the risk of missing one. I say report away if you may be in doubt.
I completely agree. Confirming someone else's bug report is even better. Not reporting is the worst case scenario.
I think there are few we have probably missed. Aprreciate the post. Look forward to your posts with the next BETA. I think we will be dueling each other as this is your second bug that covers one of my original bug posts. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Wow this is the 3rd thread on this in the last week. Clearly we need a tool tip and a serious discussion on whether casting a tower that disentigrates after a predetermined time is really the direction this power should go, especially considering the rooks slow speed.
Rogann, I think that is the point. If you want to play defensively with the rook and slow the opponents advance, you could if you towers would stay up. It add depth to the character and makes him more useful to a team. Effectively he can defend one area, while being in another. Consider how long it take him to get anywhere, this is reasonable.
Topic has officially digressed to pettiness. We get it you love DotA, guess what some people don't. LOL means there are now two games that are in the genre. I love overly complicated games. The point about recipes for some people is they were needlessly complicated. I always felt it was poor implementation, and did not add to depth. You disagree, cool. No need to be rude.

A 21 year old girl who plays demigod, if you are cute, i'm in heaven. JK. Confirmation.
This is already documented by me . It seems any ALT+Tab at the setup menu causes this. Thanks for confirmation. Not sure what you mean in your second sentence bullet magnet.
Have you attempted to confirm this bug?
Thanks I have been wondering what would happen. I have played 2 games in 1 v 3 format, but both times, I forgot to look at the in game scoreboard.
Yes it seems that the towers should stay up. Possibly the towers could cost mana and health to offset the effectiveness of this strategy. The justification for an HP cost is that the stones come from his own structure. This gives a greater cost and allows the ability to both be useful and "make sense". As it stands he is basically summoning a temporary tower. To me the rook shouldn't summon a tower but create it from his own body (stone), and thus HP.
