There really needs to be a nickname for people who post comments like these. No-man? Boy scout? Retard/Downie? Is there already such a nickname? Okay so I kind of wanted to throw up reading this comment, because theres about a billion other comments out there on these forums that pretty much follow the same exact pattern: "I IZ KNOWLEJABAAL AND U MADED A DUMB IDEA STOPZ IT ALREADEEZ!" [quote who="Stant123" reply="5" id="3065607"]It has always been said that you start off with the standard race, then at some point, via the research you do, you become a rebel or a loyalist. The only way to stay as a vanilla original faction is to stop researching. Since everyone else will still be researching, you eventually will have to continue or you will be exterminated by superior forces. So at game start, there are only 3 factions, by the end, assuming everyone has do

[quote who="Seleuceia" reply="11" id="3066692"] Really? I was being sarcastic...some people get lots of kicks out of watching mindless trade ships get blasted by starbases and pirates, and it'd be a shame if trade ships could so easily avoid all that mayhem... Okay... this "its un umpinanzz dufaz" bullshit really kills me. When someone holds a bloody knife and is standing over a bloody corpse and you witness this but not the murder itself, you can still ascertain the person has caused the deceased person's death. Anyone who says "its an opinion" is an ignoramus. That comment about statistics was ignorant as well. Essentially your saying 90% of PC games ARENT sold on Steam? Youve brought no reasoning as to why I could eve

I zoomed in on the pics and saw no corvettes. I sense wishful thinking in the comments that say otherwise. Its interesting though that the exhaust trail for the strike craft in pic 7 on the right is more opaque than the strike craft on the left but again thats not enough to suggest they are corvettes. Its also interesting how what I thought was the back of the [Loyalist?] TEC titan was actually the front.

It seems like everybody is using "WinCustomize talk" for general discussion. I cant actually find a general discussion catagory. Its really ridiculous that they try to push this "oh there's now three factions per race" bull crap. I only recently found out that there actually aren't even any new factions at all, but that they are simply research choices given to each race. My suspicions are that other than the titans, the loyalists and rebels wont be very different from each other. This suspicion stems from the fact that they dared to tell the said fib.

It would seem Ive derailed my own thread. Id like more people to comment on the OP. The main idea is, it cuts the amount of managing you would have to do in half, and in some other situations like building starbases en masse or rallying X ship(s) to a specific planet. I would really like to see this in the game so please keep this thread alive by commenting.

I just dont get it... why would anyone be excited for a Steam option? This is my experience with Steam, such a horrible one that I will NEVER buy another Steam game again, which sadly means no HL3: Before I begin, I will say every game on Steam has been pirated or will become pirated in the future, which is ironic considering the DRM is supposed to prevent that and this casts doubt on how necessary a DRM scheme such as Steam really is. Bought two games, Empire: total w
