Invasion: The new player ability allows players to take eachother's planets hostage without bombardment. The player who's planet has been invaded can bomb his own planet but at a large penalty to culture on the same planet and a small but permanent allegiance loss on each planet. When a player invades a planet he gets to keep whatever planetary upgrades that were researched, and now controls the gravity well. Ground Control (GC): This serves as the buffer betwee

Please no concern troll bullcrap please. Specifically, how does secuROM apply to Men of War? Limited activations, internet activation, etc. If its pretty much just all done through impulse I dont really mind. Ive heard secuROM varies greatly between games and also in level of intrusiveness. Also, how long is that bundle thing going to last? Is it even worth it?

Well my brother was the empire and I was the NR. My older brother was also frustrated with the mod because of how ridiculously slow it is. I mean it isnt even an issue of me being impatient, its just that it is really really slow. By the nebulons I mean the NRs equal to the empires star destroyers aka it looks sort of like a star destroyer. Maybe thats what your talking about being a corona or something and Ive gotten it mixed up. Also I think Ive got a few ideas you might be able to use. In

The resources my enemy is spending on GC units I would spend on battle ships to destroy said units. Also, why would I bother with GC when something like a novalith fixes any problems a planet has with me much quicker? Or the research for it, why spend the resources on it, when those same resources could go instead to make my fleet powerful enough to make a ground invasion pointles

[quote who="Lavo_2" reply="13" id="3056455"] The planets are made out as per how the Star Wars galaxy is; the core worlds are going to have significantly more tax income and production power than a bunch of backwater Outer Rim planets. These planets are also much harder to conquer, especially early on, due to their large militias. That isn't an issue of balance; you simply are not used to the fact that SoGE does away with everything from stock Sins, planets included. If you have bug

Ok, you CAN compare the quality of two games, no matter how unlikely they are. According to the "definition" youve set for game quality, that means theres not such thing as a sucky game or mod which doesn make sense. There IS such a thing as a wrong opinion, its just not so easy to prove wrong as opposed to fact. But... it doesnt even matter if Im right or not because neither of you are going to answer my question anyways. Neither of you want to badmouth the other's mod.

That doesnt mean one isnt better than the other. Take COD for example; its a completely different game from Sins, but compared to Sins it sucks. Please dont waste your breath people if you arent going to answer my question. Jeez, its okay to have an opinion about something.

[quote who="Wrath89" reply="5" id="3055566"] Quoting JCD-Bionicman, reply 4 That's kind of the problem, the devs want to be able to make it themselves so that they'll get paid for it. However, hundreds of hours of time and effort has been put into mods and into various fixes and things by the modders - making me wonder (from our perspective) exactly what sort of (creative and bug fixing) advantages the devs have over the modders, other tha

[in response to sporemaster's thread] Aww... a little kid on the forums how cute. That was mean; let me make it up to you. Your idea with prisoners could work if their only use wasnt so you just have to buy them back from the person who captured them. Also, it makes it hard to take you seriously when you... quite bluntly... sound like a little kid. Not being mean, just factual.
