Again not to sound like a prick, but people who call other people "stat diva"when they leave because they see they have no chance of winning or a honourable defeat after sedna got yeti's in a good players game are usually noobs. The majority of us don't care about stats.
See, I'm a noob, I dont even know how Sedena getting Yeti's effects the chances of winning. But by your logic, the person that recognizes the 'diva' is a
A few things to note: Any % chance of proc is showing the chance for Melee characters. It's less for any ranged Demigod. But yes, playing online is a LOT different. I suggest watching a few replays (I got a bunch in my OP) to see how different it is. If you haven't noticed, I love replays Edit: But hey, if you want to stay in single player, that's great Give this build a try and follow it to a T
Teseer, thanks for the build and strategy. Until I read your post, I'd never actually played TB. I feel in love with Fire TB from the start, that fire ball is just sick, has nice range, damage, and 5sec cooldown, I can fire it twice in most exchanges. Then I played a Hard Citadel vs AI on a large map, and the game went long and all the enemy AI reached level 20. Fire TB just couldnt do squat at that point, . I couldnt do enough burst to make a dent at that point.
Ole Doc Occ is the minion master. Those lighting balls are outrageous, especially with a horn of battle. Most I got them up too was 47 dps each.
Ideas: 30% movement speed reduction on target for 5 secs Mana drain of 300 mana on target Reduce armor by 400 for 3 seconds Comments/Suggestions?
One point in Warp Area is a great idea because DA is invincible whenever he is warping, and it has instant cast. So if you see some burst damage coming (fireball, pounce, ice rain), just hit the 3 key and your safe (as long as at least one target is within range of Warp Area). My observations of Demon Assassin: Warp Area - Invincible and interrupts and is great at killing creep waves. Warp Strike - Best starting ability for the mana + cooldow
I've played 5 games with DA so far, all on normal. First game I played, I got raped repeatedly. I found a lone Rook and figured I'd go slaughter him, but imagine my surprise when he raised his hammer and squished me like a bug before I even got close. I could've sworn I saw an animation of Rook scraping me off his hammer with the heel of his boot. Lesson learned, DA needs lots of armor and health.
At this price point I couldnt resist. Will I have time to play it? Probably not after the first blush. But, geesh, Oak is a monster of a Demigod! I just love playing him! Thanks StarDock!
Is there someplace where all these items and their stats are listed?
There are additional differences besides resource multipliers, there's also the logic tree percentage.
You obviously havent played my favorite map: Gateway , its the perfect turtle map. To your issue, the AI will send the size fleet necessary to take the planet based on the defenses reported by the scout they send there to investigate. Try this: Play Gateway 5v1, capture Gateway, and put your entire fleet there with a starbase, turretts, fighter bays, mines, planetary shields, etc., and then.....wait. Sometimes they wont come, they'll just keep sen
My Single Player AI Changes Wishlist for the Diplomacy Expansion: * I think we all agree AI should build super weapons, I would just like them in context because of their power. I've shut down entire star systems with 20+ Novalith Cannon's firing, and the thought of the AI doing that to me is freaking nightmarish. Let the AI build super weapons but use them in the context of Diplomacy. Like, threaten me with firing a shot at my homeworld unless I do something fo
Ok...lets update this for the latest patch. This is about the only reference that gives you a detailed description of Cap Ship abilities. I dont think the in game descriptions of the Cap ship abilities come close.
The Dunnov issue is not a bug, as Magnetize does not interrupt abilities, it prevents them from casting. The Akkan's Ion Bolt interrupts.
Think about it, (1) Orgov is 1800 credits and 14 fleet. So to get (10) of them, that's 18,000 credits and 140 fleet. While the Vasari SB is like, 400 for the colony frigate, which is like 2 or 3 fleet, then I think another 2500 credits to build the SB, plus another 1800 for the anti-structure weapon upgrade, so that's only 4700 credits for a moving tank. The downside is that you cant take the Vasari SB out of the grav well. Error. <b
I cut-my-teeth on TEC. Love my Marza and Dunnov. It started to get old though, I mean, rushing Marza's to lvl 6 just seemed to be the entire point of TEC. If I was gonna take any race online TEC would be it. Now I'm learning Advent. Played em on easy to work the kinks out, raped a few comp's and then tried on normal, and got my tush handed to me because I'm used to being strong early, but I think Advent are more mid-late game race. So you gotta setup defe
TEC anti-starbase strategy: #1 - Ceilo Command Cruiser - before you even approach the SB with your main fleet. Use the command cruiser ability to reduce the SB's damage output by 40% #2 - Dunov Support Capital Ship - use the EMP blast ability. It is a shield eraser and anti-matter drainer. Dont believe the stats on this ability. I think it says like 450 damage, but, it's waaaay more for some reason. A lvl 3 hit of EMP blast will erase the shi
How come I can never find them all? IDK if this is a bug or not, but, after I take over every planet I still dont have all the artificats. Even when the game tells me that an enemy has found one, I then go and take that planet, and a couple of times, nothing is found after I explore to 100%. I think there's like, what, 12 slots for artifacts. I've never played a game where 12 existed, let alone where found. Seems weird since there's 12 slots for artifacts, but
Um...no one mentioned that stars + starbases + Cap = Captial Ship Level Factory. If you have a star as a choke point, just leave a Cap ship there, then you'll start to get Cap Lvl up messages like there's no tomorrow. It's like sending your Cap ships to school. Once they Lvl up a couple levels, just move that one out and bring a new Lvl 1 Cap in.
IMO, it's a tight race between Vasari and TEC. Here's what I like about them: VASARI: * The phase lane you get with the Kosutra shot is a game changer. (You can jump past the front line without having to fight your way thru). * The Skiranta (Repair Cloud) gives 30 hull per sec on infinite targets for a total of 300 hull per ship [including itself]. * The Marauder's (Phase Out Hull) interrupt's w/7000 range, and it's a mobi
As others have already said, the enemy ships where probably out of the blast radius. And, everything gets blasted when it goes off, everything, strike craft included. IMO, TEC is the strongest race. They can just overpower anything else out there.
After I blast the home planet of the enemy ai, I just set mine too auto-fire. It's just too much going on in a comp-stomp to babysit the cooldown.
Hey guys. Loving Entrench, although I found it to be a bit rough, so for my comp stomping, I set all the AI to easy until I get a starbase at a choke point, then save, exit, then reload and set them all to Unfair. Man, it's MAJOR fun. I also witnessed the power of a fully upgraded TEC starbase the other day, wiped out my entire fleet, and it was just the starbase against 4 caps, and 20 frigs. Anyway, the point of this post. I think I found a bug in the
You gotta let them sit still and they will clear them automatically. Dont try to do it yourself or you'll make'em get blown to bits.
