alo_cmr - I don't think anyone's noted this yet - but you're both right and wrong when you keep stating that the US is not America. The US /is/ America at the same time it isn't. America !== America. I know in Spanish (at least Mexican spanish, I assume you call it the same in Spain,) that the name of the US is Estados Unidos (pardon any possible horrible spelling, I haven't studied the tongue in 11 years,) but the full name of the country is "The United States of America" - and conseq

"I feel for you paxx because the day your faced with a life or death situation you would rather die then defend yourself even if it meant killing someone. If you have a girlfriend or wife I suggest you tell them that you plan on wimping out before hand so that if your ever faced with a life or death situation you'll turn and run." I'm sorry Green - I like you as a person and all - but that statement shows some disgustedly narrowminded thinking. Because a person has ideals or views that

feline: *leonine* puts on her best innocent expression what to do about this??? Hey - don't you think that if /I/ had any idea, I'd be stuck in that situation? (Of course, it's been awhile now, watch the poor feline merely go 'what situation?') (Yes they need a search function here!) feline: *leonine* adjusts the front of my little black dress, to show a bit more cleavage to kthxbye i am NOT letting a gentleman go, they are far to precious so, while you are distra

/me simply happily reads the thread on his notebooks gorgeous little LCD screen, laughing at all this silly talk of refresh rates. ^_^ That said - I've never had any problems with refresh rates resetting to 60 on the 19" monitor attached to my Radeon 8500 upstairs. I went it, set them all at 75Mhz, and I've been happy since. (Honestly, there's little benefit to your eyes pushing it higher than the 75-80 range, and as your refresh rate gets higher, your image quality starts to suffer.

Dream machine, huh? Huh... people must be easily satisfied, since the things they want in their perfect computers already exist. Oh wait - my perfect computer already does too.... the NeXT and SGI Octane. They may not be the sheer brute force powerhouses that todays PCs are (though Octanes are certainly not shabby! ^.^) but they're absolute dreams to work on. I'd still find it more enjoyable and easy to work on an old 040 NeXT than on a PC.

I've got both - and use both. There are some visual styles I love which haven't been ported over to WB, and I'm too bloody lazy to do it on my own. Visual Styles seem to display shellstyles a /little/ more quickly than WB - but WB's still in an alpha stage yet, and my reference is an older alpha build anyway - I've since turned shellstyles off (they take up too much screen space and give to little in return, IMHO.) But - using Visual Styles, I've noticed my system is also pron

"Angela, I have a bear sitting right next to me and my puter. Thank you." Thanks WOM - I don't feel as bad about the stuffed white tiger down here next to my notebook, or the two little puffball kittens (a gift - I like cats ) sitting on top of my desktop monitor upstairs! ^.^

feline: *leonine* much prefers a gentleman to spend time with to some man who isnt a gentleman. *leonine* how can you say that this is a failing? Because nobody else, or at least nobody around me, seems to think the same way, of course! ^_^ feline: *leonine* ***HUGS*** kthxbye tightly, and starts slowly swaying to the music /me ulps! I ahem, hope you plan on leading - when it comes to dancing - well, you know - it's simply not one of my strong points. ^_

I've never tried BootXP - but it's a .dll hack to change the boot screen. If you ask me, you're better of living with it. ^_^ If your system's halfway decent, you only see it for a second or so anyway! ^_~

pre-WB4 alpha caused no end to the problems in Photoshop and Imageready for me. In photoshop, I had to either use a UIS1 skin, or just guess where MDI buttons were - because they were never where Windowblinds drew them (even though it drew them in what looked to be the correct place.) The layer styles dialog always went blank as soon as I edited something. Imageready - well, not a single one of the tabs would work, unless I clicked on the very /bottom/ pixel of the tab - which

Creating a new thread to ask the same question again certainly /isn't/ the way to get your question asked. The title to it isn't very conducive to getting people to read it either! ^.^ (Just a pointer.) Instead you should just 'bump' your old thread, rather than posting a new one. Now, to prove I'm not just a not-nice kind of guy, I'll answer your question! ^_^ I don't have the faintest clue, sorry.
