Well, first let me say: props for balancing items! I'm afraid some of the changes are not yet enough to make the items interesting for me BUT there are some changes that look good and go in the right direction. Will have to test them online befor I make up my mind about them though. Concerning the fix for desyncs: GO Sorian, GO!!! Thanks so much! Wait what: Horn of Battle: Increased health regen from 10 to 25 </spa

All of the above and I love the pacing, abilities, flags, teamwork, the maps, artwork... and that a certain publisher plays the game a lot. It's great to know The Man in Charge(TM) knows what he's talking about first hand!
obscenitor: The number of people working on it simply shows a very small commitment on GPG's part.
When I read this post I got the impression that it was coming from a "don't lose hope, it'll get better" perspective, with which I disagreed.
As far as I can tell it is better now. The replays are implemented and the two new demigods are making fast progress thanks to Sorians work. Really, thank you Sorian, can't wait to see your work in an official patch now. :D So as far as I'm concerned I'm content with the development speed atm.
The des
Sorian certainly told the truth, you wouldn't even insinuate something else if you had known him longer. I don't see why you would expect more than one person working on the abilities to be honest. If you have one developer on the task you know who to talk to, he knows all the details of the project at hand, to make it short, it's the best way to avoid bugs, misunderstandings and potential problems. I assume a lot of you have never worked in a similar work environment. You try to keep the tea
The problem is that GPG has a limited number of developers who can work on the project. Frogboy has reassigned developer teams from other projects and had them implement overlays. He can do this because he is the CEO of Stardock and he owns the company. If he decides to delay one of his other projects like Elemental it's his choice and his choice alone. Stardock owns, develops but most importantly publishes their products, GPG does not. GPG has to fulfill contracts and meet scheduled

The skills look very interesting and I think the DA will be a very powerful demigod in the right hands. Just think what you can do in combination with a tele scroll and a teammate with burst damage. I wonder if he can use his Warp Strike to teleport like Erebus or if he has to target an enemy for it to work. If he can teleport without 'target lock' you can probably do without any speed enhancing items. And I wonder if he has any interrupts since he seems to lack stuns or slows.
The DA reminds me of the Alien somehow and the tail animation looks great!
Speaking of the new Demigods, Frogboy just released a video showing the Demon Assassin at work: HQ Youtube Video You can see Oculus fleeing after a battle with Rook at 0:10.
HAHAHAHA, that was a good one Draek! [e digicons]k1[/e] I'm glad you guys like the pictures and thanks for the karma. Had some huge Wall of Text (TM) prepared but my intertubes suddenly gave away yesterday. Short version: I think GPG tried to make all ends meet, SupComII, Demigod bug fixes, other projects but they had bad luck. First with the connectivity, the stats, a bunch of experienced developers leaving. IMO they

I see the threads about: 'Where are the new demigods?' every week and there are a lot of people who are angry or frustrated because it takes so long. There are a lot of accusations, questions and misunderstandings on the topic. So I decided to gather all the available information and explain to you guys why we are still waiting. I'll illustrate my post with some pictures because... because it's more fun! Let me assure you, I'd prefer nothing more than to play them right
Some karma for Kanniebaal! Good find!
Hmm, I send my request for Ready to Play to you when Frogboy posted about it the first time. Haven't got it yet... :( I'll try again.

I would prefer the option to play unranked custom games but a draw option would be nice if it isn't too much work.
Yup, so far everything looks okay. Your upload speed might even be enough for 5v5s, graphic card and CPU should be more than enough to run the game smooth. Maybe your ISP is shapeing p2p traffic or some other nonsense. Next time you experience lags open the Tab scree again and look for high pings and ping spiking. All pings <300 or 350ms are okay and wont slow the game down. Sometimes you get ping spikes. It usually happens when one players upload bandwidth is too low and you will see the
Go to: http://speedtest.net/ and run the speed test to a server in your vicinity and post the result here. Then play a skirmish game (offline) on a 5v5 map and hit 'Tab' during the game, find the sim speed value. Is it > 1 even late game? hit the '/' key on your Num block and check the number that appears on the screen. Those are the frames per second your graphic card can handle, everything higher than 25-30 is okay.</
Word of advice: Don't hang around in the aura. Use the 5 seconds to your advantage. Pop a potion, ask for help, set a ping, move to the safety of one of your towers, move past him so he can't escape easily, count down to 4 and hit your Wand of Speed, whatever. Just don't hang around and take damage waiting till his Spit cooldown is over... ;)
I havent seen a link to Sorians blog here yet: http://soriandev.blogspot.com/ Looks like the last few milestones for SupCom2 took a lot of effort and they had little time to finish them. GPG probably had to focus on that first to stay on schedule. But they have been working constantly on the new demigods and are making progress: http://soriandev.blogspot.com/2009/10/what-way-to-end-week.html In the midst of all the
