I notice a boost on the new smaller 2v2 map. Not much of a boost with the original map

yea, I was like where are you guys going? I'm right here, come fight me...
This problem still exist in in Beta 1A which you probably know. Still no ps 2.0 support yet.
you get unlimited activations.
The game will run great on the geforce 8600gt.
I hope this has the fix to add pixel shader 2.0 support. This will then run on my laptop even if it's a bit slow and looks crappy.
You should get an email later with the Beta cd key later. You might as well install impulse right now. So you will be allset when beta2 is out.
I have to agree with Jevoe that it's not clearly stated if you get the beta or not. I also took the risk or preordering last week, not sure if I was able to get into beta or not. Luckily I did. Even in the main page http://www.demigodthegame.com/ Quote "Pre-order the game and you can join the beta and help mold the game for its final release!" It doesn't mention about any queue or beta2 so even the main
I played d2 for about 6k hours. It has 7 classes IIRC. I honestly looking back do no know how i enjoyed D2 for so long. Acutally I sort of know.. it didn't have an competition. Back then that game was so much better than everything else.
Not just back then, even NOW there's not much competition to diablo2. I can see people moving on to WoW, guildwars, or other MMORPG. I think tha
They should make a sticky thread about the next beta release question. I see the same similar thread in the general forum and beta forum everyday.
I don't see the point of dual monitors when you only control 1 hero. I doubt they will support it.
I'm a developer of another company, not game related. I already don't have enough time giving feedback and testing people's idea inside the company. If I had to answer everyone's ideas outside the company, i'll never get anything done.
1. I would say it's like Battlegrounds from World of Warcraft if you never played Dota. 2. For the beta, you never have to run the impulse program. Impulse is needed to install the game and get updates.
I see nothing wrong with the preview. Were you expecting some new information? I think you guys are too picky or just bias against gamespy.
AGP cards are typically more expensive than PCIe cards. I know there are high end AGP cards which are $100+. What I mean is that the cheapest AGP I was able to find was a $70 x1650pro or geforce 7600gs. There is no $40 agp card that can run this game, but there are $40 PCIe cards that can run this game fine. When I was single, I would buy the best videocard without blinking an eye. Now that I'm married, I really have to watch my budget despite making mo
I think the radeon 9700 is the same as the geforce 5 series. The problem with the $40 SM3.0 card you mention is it requires PCI express only found in the newer computers. There's also laptops with graphic cards that can't be upgraded. The problem is I only have an AGP slot, most old computers do. So the cheapest AGP option I found was the radeon x1650pro for $70.
so your X800 card can't play demigod smoothly right now? I think they will add ps2 support soon.
If supreme commander has ps2 support, this game will probably get it too. Since it's based on supcom engine and this game suppose to have lower requirements than supcom. Just wait for beta 2-3.
I'm talking about the final release game. I guess there's no information about it yet. Supcom was handled by gpg.net. So this game won't use gpg.net?
I will be playing this game with mostly with 1 friend. So does that mean we can only do 2v2 arranged team rank game? or can I do 5v5 rank game with 1 friend and 3 strangers? Is there random and arranged team ranked games? How about non ranked? can I play a 5v5 with 1 friend in non ranked? I never played supcom so I don't know how supcom sets up their rank and nonrank game.
8-10 demigods is perfectly fine for a first game. Look at WoW, it has 9 total and each class can be built 3 different ways. You can play 5v5 or battleground in WoW and always have fun. This should be more fun than WoW's battleground.
Yes, you'll be able to run this game fine and pretty much any game in the next 2 years.
I tried it on 3 computers and sadly the outcome wasn't so good on all 3. 1. Dell laptop with integrated intel graphics. doesn't work at all (Direct3d error seen in other threads) I think if they add pixel shader 2 support. This is my primary pc and I used it to play WoW and red alert3 beta often. 2. older Desktop in the office room using radeon 9600. Runs but choppy graphics at like 3 frames per second. This pc and graphics card is 4 years o
Starcraft 2 coming out next year willl have pixel shader 2 support. I hope this game will have it too if they want to appeal to the mass market.
I wish there was an edit button to edit the post. Even though I got the game to work with my radeon 9600 (3-4 year old graphics card), it was very slow with choppy graphics. The game was pretty much unplayable and I had already turn everything to the lowest graphic settings. I think a $500 computer can pretty much run this game well. It is quite a graphics extensive game. I'm able to run WoW, Red Alert3 beta, and spore fine but not this gam
