Go ahead and ask it to be locked if you like. You are the one that is stating if I don't see it your way, it's the highway. Just look at what you wrote. I never ever said that casual gamers were oppressed. You both are putting words into my mouth because that is how you FEEL not what I said. I am saying they are completely miss labeled. According to both defintiions given, someone who plays everyday for hours at a time is NOT a casual gamer. Nowhere in your defintiion did you specify TYPE of game, only frequency of play. And here you are, both of yo complaining about games being made for casual gamers not that so many of them are pl

(thats when you know you've got a good game) Yeah, the demo basically had the easiest level (tutorial) and hardest level (not even in the game) as the examples. I guess the idea was to give the entire spectrum of what to expect from the game. (I feel they should have made it more c

[quote who="pseudomelon" reply="69" id="2394327"] Naturally what feels tedious for some may feel like a real challenge for another, as I've stated in previous posts. However, many people feel that the amount of challenging segments even in the harder difficulties of games is decreasing; and for mainstream gaming, they seem to be correct. Edit: As for Casual gamers, the terminology is not rediculous. People who play very few videogames play them casually. People who play

I played and loved Diablo 1 and 2. I do not consider myself a hardcore gamer as I am not such a snob that I feele the need to label people in such a way. I think the ability to scale difficulty now is great, and have no regrets about that choice for the industry. If you want to be punished, scale it up. No, we're not getting soft. There are more choices now and for some reason, that makes some people really unhappy.

I read this I think. Is this the one where Brad talked about hoping/wanting Microsoft to do more for the PC as a gaming platform and then mentioning Windows Live came with some sort of charge. News flash Microsoft, if I didn't play games as heavily as I do, I would have little reason to stick with Microsoft products.

Come to find out I had forgotten i switched out my old CD-ROM for a better one and I'm thinking i need to reinstall the driver but I can't find the CD that came with it. Since EA is publishing it, they made Bioware wait till the console versions were complete to launch them at the same time. A lot of people like SimCity 4, and SIm City Societies has series technical issues late in teh game. You also need to lay some blame on the developers. Well ageless doesn't work either. That implies that they never have and never will age. I am guessing they were children at one point and aged to a certain point and then only showed minute changes but aged. Ageless would describe something like a vampire best, or anything that unnaturally stopped a biological clock. Really though in sci-fi/ fantasy, immortal is the term that is more often used even if it is not 100% accurate.

I'd like, but don't expect, to see a canon faction that is fully matriarchal, where sons are bred to look good jousting and married off for fat doweries, alongside a faction or two where title-holders can choose their heirs, and perhaps even one where the sovereign isn't even obliged to choose among his or her offspring for an heir.<br

We have an arena mode, which is almost a little bit like Demigod, where you go into a tactical battle. Whoever wins that wins the game. That's for the guy who only has 20 minutes to play. Then you have small maps, very small maps, w
