The Proxys' purpose is to relay the connection between intercontinental players. The proxy itself is not a game server or anything. At least that's what I thought.

Don't mind VoW-Kryo, he is german ;P GPGnet is a complete mess. It's bulky, instable, hideous and buggy. Using it for Demigod would be not a wise idea. Further developing it would be impractical too. It gets the job done for SupCom etc., but no one should want the current state of GPGnet or future development based on it for any future game.

How can I transfer the install or game files from one PC to another? I want to play it with my Account on a different PC, however, I do not want to download the whole thing again just for that. I already tried it via the archiving function. But on the target PC it says, that the archive file was made under a different OS.

Hehe yeah ;). They could still keep the "dieing camera effect" in, but it would reset to your last custom setting once your Demigod respawns.

What exactly was different? I found that particular Voyager Episode pretty cool and was quite satisfied about how they accurately linked the scenes from ST:VI and this episode together. Of course Sulu looks a bit older, but how do you suggest to circumvent that, when you want to make such an episode ;). Besides, in my opinion he didn't really look older, just a bit different. And that's ok for the purpose of such an episode. Everything else, the ship the bridge and most of the other a

Those weren't different ships. The Excelsior had the registration number NX-2000, because of its experimental transwarp drive. Experimental ships always have NX. Once the transwarp project failed, the Excelsior became NCC-2000, with the conversion to normal warp drive, in 2287. Captain Sulu took command over the Excelsior in 2290. Although there is some discrepancy on the registration number of the USS Defiant. Initially it had NX-74205. After it got destroyed, another Defiant class s

Also technically, the Starfleet we know from TOS and after wasn't there yet in ENT. It shouldn't have been named NX-01 at all, just Enterprise and something arbitrary. MarvinKosh: Raider1988 has a point though. The registration number always stayed the same for ships of the same name. The different incarnations with other classes are depicted by the letter. Anyway, ENT doesn't exist, so it's all moot ;P

Usually developers do little or no communication with the community at all, especially some time after the release.</p

For me it feels like I am on a dead end... with a roundabout I can't get out ;) The game is unable to connect to the NAT facilitator, to which it connects on port 6000 UDP. I know that the game works on my laptop, since I already played it at home with a different internet connection. This would suggest, that my other internet connection is at fault. I already asked the ISP if port 6000 is somehow blocked by them. It is not. Even if it we
I found the ship was way cool. It's primitve as it should be and weak.
The ship was an almost 1:1 copy of the Akira class, except the warp gondolas are turned upside instead of down. I always found that incredibly lame.

Sorceress: no, the game will always run on the speed set in the game options (default: 0) as long as every player can sustain that speed. If one player's sim speed falls below that speed, the game will run slower. For example: Simspeed Player 1: +10 Player 2: +10 Player 3: +8

Patch didn't resolve the problem. The only difference is that the connection info box now says "Waiting for connection data.". After a while I get the "Cannot connect to a NAT facilitator." error. tcpview still shows no connection attempt on port 6000 UDP.
