Keep the game forever or get my refund now.
I don't think he meant "forever". If it still doesn't work after the next improvements, I am sure that you will still be able to get a refund.
Basically I complained on this site to let others know that it really isn't fixed yet (even though some fans claim it is). And I get called a whiner. So I then get told to take them up on their Gamers Bill of Rights (GBOR). So I email stardock and request a full refund.
Why do you not wait for the next patch and the proxy system? Isn't that much less of a hassle?

When you zoom out of a map, the background zooms in. When you zoom in, the background zooms out. This irritated me sometimes in the beginning. Is this intentional (so that it emphasizes the surealism of the maps)?

Why do you think that this is an exploit? Demigod simply does not use this kind of gear inventory. Also, by your logic: how can the Rook wear such a small helmet anyway? Or how does unclean Beast fit into the gloves etc.? ;P

Going completely insane on them like this is not helpful when simply pointing out why the page in question is wrong would be a lot more effective.
The problem is, that they did not make any effort in making an informed decision.

If you now feel it's not DRM, I'd love to hear what makes you now consider Now, as all of the other content in that section uses no copy protection or DRM of any kind, your content no longer fitted in that category and we ahd to remove it. I'm not trying to be an asshole about it, but it's really not my fault or my problem that the system is p2p and I certainly would not play with anything over 225-ish in customs
If the ping stays under 350ms to every player, then lagging is not caused by a
Sorry to hear you're having such a rough time with the networking, but I think the reason they said the proxies will fix it is that, if you can't get to the NAT Facilitator for some reason, you'll instead get shunted over to the proxies. See the third paragraph up there under "Proxy Servers". I have absolutely no idea if that will fix it, but I think that's what they expect.
Yes, of course I hope so too that the upcoming fixes an
Want to contradict? Arm yourself as much as the Equinox's captain failed attempt at a questionable shortcut against StarFleet most fundamental principles.
Indeed. There are also lots of other episodes where Janeway simply goes "mad" and forgets her Starfleet/Federation principles. Particularly in Equinox you can watch how she turns more and more into Captain Ransom and Captain Ransom into Janeway.

She'd be mutinied on and thrown into the airlock by any sane officer.
Err, you are comparing it like it's a real ship in our time. This is Star Trek we are talking about. Janeway simply executed Starfleet Protocol and the ideals of the Federation. Maybe to an extreme from your point of view, yes. But in the Star Trek universe, no Starfleet Office would consider it insane. You are handling the theme as if it was

Hello Frogboy, I know that you do not reply in your threads much (or your PMs ;)). But so far I did not get a useful respons to my problem . I also contacted Stardock support, but they say that this will be solved by the Proxies. However, as you pointed out several times, the Proxies will only help to improve the communication between the NAT facilitator and the Impulse Reactor. In your diagram, my problem is between the Player and the NAT facilitator. So far it s
once the person has handshaked with each peer in the match (just like they have to to get into the lobby) they synchronise just like they would during the game. short of one larger sync upon 1st few seconds of reconnect which would probly halt the game for a second (just like when someone DC's or lags atm) there wouldnt be any large noticable effect.
Actually this would be like transferring a savegame to that player and that can take longer than a second.
lastly a resume connection option would seem like a realy obvious feature to be working on, since the games replace you with an AI if you DC, you shouldbe able to reconnect and replace the AI within say 5mins of being DC'd the names / IP's of your peers from the game will be in the log files anyhow and could just as easily be cached somewhere else just for this purpose.
This is more complicated than you think. It's not trivial to connect to a running game and synchronize it agai
