Yes, to agree with everyone else, I believe that the map is supposed to be a change from the others. It's closer, tighter, and more fast and furious than the others. Personally, I have a much harder time<span id="gtbmisp_1" style="border: 0pt none; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; font-family: serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: bold; font-size: 100%; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; -x-sys

They did say that this Beta was not balanced.
I have the same problem, although I did manage to join one game once. http://forums.demigodthegame.com/333433 Also, note here that the multiplayer connectivity is still in the works.
The first two are not bugs. It's just a Beta, read this. http://forums.demigodthegame.com/333433 Also, just a note, I don't have any of the latter problems. Adjust your settings, maybe?
This happens to everyone, it's just another part of the Beta. It might be fixed in a patch, it might not be. And yes, theres supposed to be 4 on one side and 2 on the other. They're divided by class, the 4 being Assassins, and the 2 being Generals.
Haha, good answer. Was nice playing breifly with you, Frogboy.
When do you plan on updating the Origins tab, by the way?
*Dances as his Demigod downloads*
Agreed, Hazar =]
So, the release is scheduled between 12:00 and 15:00 (or 3pm) CST? I believe theres only an hour left.
I disagree that it's happening here. The older forum members that I've spoken to have been helpful and polite, and I've only been on here since last thursday.
"Thursday's release of BETA 2." Wooo!
=o *Throws a bucket of Demigod on Teseer*
Thanks, heaven, that was very informative. Now why arent what called creeps?
Speaking as one who doesnt havent access to Beta 1 and who never even played Warcraft, let alone Defense of the Ancients, I'd like to know more about creeps. Here's what I've puzzled out so far: They are autonomously spawned periodically from portals Players have no control over them. There are different types. Here's some things I'd like to know: Why are they called Creeps? What are the different types
Personally, I wouldnt have preordered a game coming out next year without this Beta to keep me satisfyed. Especially conisdering all the things that have come out since I did, such as Left 4 Dead, and all the things that still will. And considering that most people who pre-order believed they'd get access to the current Beta. So this is important to me. That said, judging from the journals and from our friend's information here, this week looks very hopeful.
I would love to play the Unclean Beast. He looks awesome, and I love the way he moves in the videos. Next to him, I'd like to try the posterboy, Rook.
Alright, so if our orders from Stardock are collector's, but not boxed, does that mean we get the MyColors theme?
I like how the minotaur captains have the samurai-ish flags on their back. And the giant swords, of course.
Yeah, to sum it up, that idea is not exactly original. Try Soulreaver, it's exactly what you're looking for.
Hmmm... I suppose that does explain things a bit. I still wish we'd get more official word on these things though. I cant help but think about how much in the dark we would be without you, Trigeminal.
If people complain when they give us unofficial probably this but don't want to say for certain dates, then in future we just won't get any dates at all until they're absolutely certain. The beta is for their testing purposes, any entertainment we may derive is purely a freebie thrown in to sweeten the pre-order.
I would PREFER that. If you don't know it's coming, there wouldnt be all this anticipation that gets dashed when they push it
I love how they dont actually TELL us its not going to be this week. They just let you wait till thurday and find out for yourself. Bastards.
Kestrel, that response was GOLD.
I wonder how expensive those Achievement Items are? And how powerful they are? Thanks for the tidbit, Teseer. I wonder, though, why divinity would make a curse more potent?
