I cannot apply a dream by double-clicking on it in Explorer. However, doing that with the configuration program running sets it as the selected dream but does not apply it without clicking the button. I can keep double-clicking on drams in Explorer and the configuration program will update the "current" dream. I ran the Stardock Purge Deskscapes bat and reinstalled but nothing has changed. Check that, the first dream I choose with a double-click after areboot now is ap

Is no one else having the problem of being unable to launch a dream by double-clicking on it?
I have lost the ability to double-click on a dream to load, or even select Open with... Now I have to use the configuration program which is super slow scrolling through to find a dream to load.
If I am not mistaken folks who are on the Fast Track with Microsoft are getting regular updates, the rest of the folks the have updated to Windows 10 will be getting what some are calling a major update sometime in Oct or Nov. As always, I could be wrong. [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
I meant Stardock's updates to make their software compatible.
I just received notification that my copy of Windows 10 is ready for download. With most of the SD software I use incompatible I am going to wait a bit longer. I use Fences Pro, Deskscapes and WindowBlinds among others. I find the logic of waiting until the OS is released a little difficult to follow. The purpose of the preview releases is to give developers time to prepare so that updates are ready to go when the OS is released. I hope the updates are
Thanks JC, that's where Google usually sends me. You'd think the search would be built into the app itself.
xWidgets work well on my PC and I like how configurable they are.
I end up doing a Google search on whatever I'm trying to find. And one more thing, the minimize button doesn't work. You can maximize or close but no minimize.
As far as I can see I can only use the tool to scroll through a random list of widgets, completely uncategorized. Is there something I'm missing? It took mew quite a bit of scrolling to find a calendar widget I liked. It would be nice to just search for all widgets pof a certain type and scroll through just those rather than all.
Do you mean create a brush from that pattern?
Hi LightStar, you're a pro-level WindowsBlind skinner. Do your blinds skin Chrome? Wb used to work for me and then after a reboot it no longer skins Chrome properly.
No, I have downloaded other updates but there has been no notice about WB. I manually grabbed 8.23, the latest version on my download list. Do you know if that's the latest?
Ok, thanks. Your last sentence actually answered my question. I'm happy to use a google theme again for now.
Can you explain? You create your own theme that doesn't skin the min/max/close button area?
Reinstalling did not solve the problem. [e digicons]x_x[/e]
I guess no one else is seeing this. I'll try to un/reinstall WB and see what happens.
Chrome froze last night and after a reboot, if I use any skin besides plain Aero, the titlebar is invisible. Unless an update was installed after the reboot I don't understand how it could have changed. I now have Chrome on the per app restriction list. Anyone else see this happen recently? Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Here is the Wb info dump: Windows 7 Ultimate (7601.win7sp1_gdr.150715-0600) WindowBlinds 8.06 (029
I couldn't find any compatibility information. Does this release mean WindowBlinds is Win 10 compatible?
Your wife posts here sometimes and she describes you more as a knave rather than king. [e classic][/e]
Next time, the link will point to a warez site in Estonia and I'll be sure to make it clickable. [e digicons]>_>[/e]
How do you know I wanted it clickable??? You assume much your dudeness. [e digicons]:digichet:[/e]
Might this help? Where are Windows 8 Metro Apps installed & how to access the folder http://www.thewindowsclub.com/windows-8-metro-apps-folder-location
That's it Jim! Thanks. I had turned on the show hidden files and folders option just recently to track down a setting and then left it selected. Funny, no one in any of the forums I searched suggested that. Wincustomize is king (lowercase)!
