yep. the person who made that wiki basicly has no idea about the internal workings of the game. IIRC they never brought entrenchment or diplomacy either. Just try a mod where cooldown is at 99%. should give an absolute stupid damage increase right? nope. it about doubles damage dealt... or more percisely, increases damages by 99%. Kol's adaptive force shield is the same way. 25% damage reduction on lv 2? try 20%. m
the energy aura from the Halcyon reducing weapon cool-down of all nearby units by a max of 22% and an effective damage increase of up to 28.2% (execept strike craft).
Incorrect. Sins stacking is an evil funky thing which means the effective damage increase is actually 22%.
hmm. been a while since iva seen one of those. scary. hmm. definatly something to look out for.

this would be awesome... expecially with map sharing. but its prolly to far along in the dev cycle to add it in.
AI backs off if your fleet shows up.
Modular architecture is nice. THe best way to use it is when you want to move your factories to the front line. Scuttle your factories on your hw, then research modular architecture, then rebuild. It would take 9 extractors alone to break even on the credit cost research, so, you might want to research it right before you build a bunch of extractors... so if you can combine your factory moving with colonizing ~2 planets, then you prolly got out ahead. <p
Ima really scared about even more people hopping onto the vasari bandwagon. How nice it was when I was one of the few!
nottabug. what is with all these thread talking about armistise, and trying to bypass it?
I agree. It should. wethere or not it does or not... It prolly shouldnt be castable when the enemie's shields are online too. but.
no? you colonize, then you build the gauss turret. the building turret will scare away the siege frig for long enough for when its finished for it to kill the siege frig before the seige frig kills your colony. then it will go to work on the light frig. Your colony ship just needs to touch the roid, colonize, and run off to the next place.
That would be a neutral colony. They tend to have structures and ships - it is not a bug, in fact, some per-built maps come with neutral colonies.
^^^ this. solution: stop trying to use the ingame map editor, and use galaxy forge.
I cant find the defence deence string error. :-/
umm. ya. just send a colony ship. itll be colonized up quite quick. though, neutral colonized planets (the occupation world) you will still have issues with. known issue.
if you can reproduce a crash from a save... GOD DAM SEND IT IN PLEASE OMG DO IT. instructions https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/418918 seriously. do ett. do ett now.
If somethng is annoying, there is a good chance it is good. Ill remember that if we play. hehehe.
generally, you want to expand towards your enemy in a single straight line (for tradeports), while sending out out lone colony ships to ninja colonize roids and neutrals. (use the lone colonizer trick, where you build a gauss touching the roid/moon in front of the seige frig). Often times you will want to skip ice and volc colonization untill later... and heavilly defended deserts/terrans. I am finding myself establishing my front with my enemy, and then back
yes. this is a bug in the most recent build of rebellion.
the hanger bays attacking everything is not a bug. In the same way the side guns on corvettes can attack everything in the same way the flack on the titans can attack everything in the same way fighters can attack ships and not just bombers.
I believe it will still be most very useful for players in econ spot, or in the case of larger than average maps.
I doupt that. expecially if balancing continues after release. And. razors edge has planets. therefor, resource rock counts, artifacts, militia, and planet bonuses may not be even.
oh yes. suggusting 64 bit, or multi-core support is a big nono. that stuff is for sins 2.
Do you have saves from both sides of the desync? If so, send both saves to !!!!!!!!
I would kind of miss MDs. That precious "awwww" when you MD in middle of really good game is unique Sins Experience. And all the Armistice bug-features Auqia likes so much. And countering bugged lums just to be repulsed for 1,39543 AM cost... balanced and bug-free Sins would be just regular game.
ROFL
Ya. the AI does surrender. sometimes before it should. sometimes way later. It would be a nice-to-have if the AI instead of immediantly surrendering, would ask the player 'do you accept my surrender' Like in starcraft 2.
