THE GOD DAM ENTRENCMENT TITLE SONG IS GONE! that ALONE should be worth the expansion pack! WOOHOO!
ya... i think its less "we dont want you to play diplomacy" but more "The version of diplomacy we are working is farther along, and we dont feel like making the outdated version you all are playing with compatable."
goes ryat goes! Irayo for your work, guys.
*sigh*... i guess we can live for a few days before we can play diplo again...NOT *goes to make back up copy of current version of sins*
they didnt buff lrfs... they just swung the balance from scouts >LRFs to fighters > lrfs. which, imho, is the way it should be anyway. You do realize that with equel fleet supply, even vasari carriers PWN lrms... even illuminators, with the current balance? I did a 6 vasari carrier vs 14 illum... both fleets starting on opposite ends of grav well... without kiting. i lost 1 carrier. flacks, however, are a monkey wrench in this plan, obviousl
when i first saw this thread, i thought it said "preety pissed about steam" which... considering how annoying it is... makes alot more sense.
so... any info when we will be getting this?
Indeed I don't like scouts as combat ships. However I belive they should not be nerfed without nerfing the LRFs first. ANd yeah I am talking about the missile and beam pacts. When you have 2 pacts your gain 20% damage increase to your LRFs.
O rly? Last time i checked, if you tried to form a second pact of the same type, it said "not happening"
I have noticed that the burst rockets on gauss cannons tend to fire when strike craft are in range. It was impossible to tell if htey were hitting the strike craft (which would be preety epic)... but they definatly were not hitting ships.
The game has physics involved. First rule, an object in motion tends to stay in motion. Strictly speaking that's not true. Ever seen a ship nudged by repulse? Even if the repulse effect is perpendicular to its direction of motion, it loses all momentum and comes to a complete stop on a dime.
Ever seen a ship get ion bolted? its disabled... does it drift? no... it does an immediate
your specs look fine... much better than mine... herm... I wonder if the new patch (1.05/1.19) help when it comes out soon.
foreign invasion, and entanglement both have rather good choke points. the new map (diplomacy only) secretes, has a rediculous choke point. open up a few maps in galaxy forge, and you can check them out yourself... there are also quite a few custom maps... but they *tend* to not have choke points... also... check out the distant stars mod. lots of maps in there, (but DS only)... and ofcourse you can use galaxy forge to make your own maps.
Things I love: everything you changed. YOU SQUASHED THE PHASE GATE BUG!!!! YESSSss!!1111 Things I dont like: Gauss rail gun still doing... what is it... 875*.4*armor reduction for less than 350 damage... vs 1125 for death egg. Kortul's jam weapons seeming a bit on the weak side. (advent battle ship is fine... that thing hurtz.) Ships acting stupid when trying to GTFO while under fire... (the whole, occasionally traveling 1/2 way ac
your preety close... except, americans tend to send a shitton of monies go towards charities that in no way benifit them. It could be in the form of food banks... or engineers without boarders, or whatever. A sizable portion of the USA GDP goes to charities, both inside the USA and outside. The nice thing about charities... is that, instead of the big guy taking your monies and giving it to someone else (after taking off a sizeable portion to sustain the big guy), yo
that is the stupidest name for a product ever. No way i am ever buying this.
you know... i think our little technical discussion has preety much turned everyone else off this thread... lolz.
I am sure if we had a second spinal cord... I am sure people would have been trying for all of recorded history to try and do *something* with it... course it would not be till recently, with computers and such that an actual neural interface would be a serious thought... and even then. our current technical knowlege would prolly not be sufficiant to create a mechanical-biological link. (i mean... hell... when we get to that point... it wont be that hard to install a USB connector under the s
Just idly speculating here.....: Are the braintrees even a sentience, or do they just store data?
from the movie "she is real"... they seem... or at least together, seem to be sentient.
And is the Doc's actual consciousness bouncing around somewhere in there, or just her memories? Did the transfer even take?
not sure, we dont really know... arguments could be made both
actually... they can back up... i have seen it... though they do it only when you tell them to back up less than a ship length or so.... and never if you actually want them to.
is there still the thing about only being able to form a pact with one player, instead of the extras not stacking?
Set, ngati lu muiä. Alot of the film was unfortunatly cut out due to the IMAX time limitations... Its all shot and done and so forth, and so should end up in the DVD/blueray version. there you will find alot of cameron's story telling. so... just like LOTR... expect a extended version.... and expect 2 sequels. The origional script would have made for a 5 hour long movie... and included many new characters and explainations which were unfortunatly left out in the movie.
yes. there, see how nice it is to not try and find faults in everything? now. Nevume pivlltxe nìNa'vi oehu! (and i really hope i said that right... but i probably didnt.)
The air thing is odd, since there also appears to be wind blowing from the human air to the moon air, and fairly strongly, too. The Na'avi also look like creatures evolved in a low-pressure environment (large, sensitive ears, room for more than their fair share of lungs, etc.) and a small moon like Pandora wouldn't be able to hold onto much in the way of atmosphere........ yet tree goop burns (or are the trees somehow self-
ok. To try to kinda prove a point with concern to the movie being similar to a few others... and to completly rip off an episode of one of my favorite shows... ima do something slightly ironic. CAMERON: and that is the end scene 10. JAKE: I Fight with... viperwolves? CAMERON: Sure. Why not? JAKE: Isnt that just showing the audiance tha...? CAMERON: Exactly, which is why I am hanging a lantern on it.
