I still have to make a developer build and a few other things for a modding package. Let's hope we can get it running before that goes up. Is anyone else able to test the convertdata's on their machines? The latest ones would be included in the last patch including all associated dlls and manifest files.
Last time you said the package would be ready for 1.03 in a few days, yet you only released dev version instead of the "whole
Duh, given that just porting over doesn't work like I mentioned above... BTW, hoping that I could get the beta of the next release in time...I can probably include the Dynamic modding of this
lol same thoughs here
Seriously, when I first heard of stardock, I though it was from Star Trek *wink [e digicons]^_^[/e]
and new pics! I see a new capital ship in the second pic
what second pic?
Actually, there is alot of things that have changed, just porting 1.03 to 1.04 it was barely running. Nearly all of changes I have noticed was mainly in the windows files...
I own a Bamboo Wacom one, greatest $100 I have ever spent. someitmes I use it like a mouse, but for some mmo, and basic pointing and clicking, and since I have CS4, I have been using a lot of it in PSD. :) Though I don't get it why use a pricy one when the cheapest will do.
I don't know, there is a lot of things that need to be updated...
Meh, since I am doing the smaller pirate, part ya, all of it will be using Dynamic movement or I might do a even smaller mini-mod where it doesn't have dynamic Won't be out till I can get it updated Ya, direct port from 1.03 to 1.04, turns out it doesn't work too good
Try for a map update from Harpo...I don't remember the link though.
Yay it is out!!!
Hey, awesome mod. The things I really like about this are the Sins Plus planets in moon -> huge sizes, adds a lot of variety and cool factor to making maps. I like having only two or three huge planets with a couple moons each. And the pirates - they are the highlight of this mod for me. I jumped 3 caps to a pirate base early in the game to level them up a bit...usually 2 radiances and a progenitor can clear a base with not much trouble, but
I usually avoid this problem instead of multiple stars, I use the map where everyone is in the same galaxy
hey GoFan77 you forgot to include Distant Stars to your list
Not to smack DS, (since I am part of the dev team) but it is kinda like MS
Ya, if you want to mod. Get Entrenchment.

Usually with space faring spies use their flagships when dealing with enemies... I mean if you look at star trek...all of the Enterprises had been flagships of both Terran fleet and Starfleet. But then of course you have Voyager, the un-offical flagship of the federation in the delta quad (but I am rambling) Instead of a using a crusier, make it a cap ships or something like that...
Yay
Texturing: GIMP - as mentioned, never used it myself but people say its pretty much on par with Photoshop
technically you don't really need gimp to do it, if you maya, it has a in-program texture editor...
Not sure if I caugh it but when will the release be?
Boo to steam, you can't use many of your games offline... I like the update system here, it makes sure that you actually have the game.
I only use steam so I can play zombie panic Source rofl...besides I only got 1 game on there, unlike Impulse where I have 2 :)
Not for me here, see I play in window mode, so I just press x and it exits. Without going thru the lagging screen of tallying up all of the scores... But what I find annoying is that when you load up a game with a mod on, it runs smoothly for the first few seconds that it would lag like hell...and then it is all smooth again...but then again it probably because the game is applying the mod when it lag... but sadly even if I exit via the x, my comp will lag until till it unloads...
