There no reason to think that gravity will cause it to slow down slow enough to rip it apart.
The ripping apart is actually caused by an enormous expansion of space caused by Dark Energy with Gravity (in this scenario unsuccessful) trying to counter that.
I agree about the Evil weapons. IIRC the ONLY benefit to 2.20 Psionic Missile is that it's a little cheaper. I really liked the old weapons. Oh, a question. I see that the Korath Germ Warfare branch requires Impossible Tech . I gather that is only enabled with the Super Abilities? (Might be fun to play with germ-ridden Korath without SAs, which I generally don't like.)
<
The article clearly says that inflation is non-local, in that the size of galaxies does not change (at least in relation to large scale distances), while the distance between galaxies can increase so fast that they actually fly apart at speeds exceeding 'c'. Yeah, I'm still trying to get my head around that. Sounds more like the universe is, or will be, bounded by an event horizon. BTW, if that last is so, what is th

Gaunathor, you just heavily nerfed Yor. I realize that, (esp. Adv. Stalks) were OP, but the total effect is -25% popgrowth, -1 tile PP, @4 Stalks -40% moral PP, (though +20% moral on Iconia.) Thing is that in the CU their economic branch has been nerfed considerably, so the only thing that's left to bring their economy up are Stalks. They have nothing else. In comparison to vanilla, Efficiency Studies holds +15% econ more - but at +2200 research cost (!) - starting with Ef

That's a necessity, in my opinion, because the move to percentage bonuses not only failed to achieve what it was meant to do (prevent overpopulation on AI planets), but made matters worse. I only suggested nerfing the farms, because Mabus was worried about the consequences of going back to food production. It&#

and just while I'm thinking over it... so Iconians are able to use 3mt farms right from the start - which, as of now, is the maximum yield the AI can use under all trees. and Yor have these farms and they give good moral as a bonus, as well. while in the vanilla game, these farms were only mediocre - because there, 7mt food was the best. So the Iconians had a headstart while, in the long run, their farming was less efficient in endgame. (on that note
