It's called common sense..perhaps you've heard of the concept?
Now I really wonder how much development experience you have.
Huh, its probably too late now but I would have liked to have seen a replay showing that. I've never seen that in nearly 300 hours of playing, I just assumed the AI was too stupid to realize its starbases could jump and continued to treat it as a normal starbase. Perhaps it really was just the high research requirement all along.
You could grant the AI all research and let it go in the dev.exe.
Does this work for Rebellion? All I ever see is diplomacy...
Most of my updates are on moddb. However 1.5 broke the mod so it won't work until the issues are addressed.
Again...more assumptions from you in your first sentence. Whether you believe it or not, I am a developer and one of the main things I consider when developing any project is to create it so that it is as easy as possible for the end user. Not make it so that it requires extensive research to use.
I have to assume, which I even stated as such. Without concrete knowledge of who you are and what experience you have there
That all may be true but my main point here is that messages posted on a website and or forum should not be assumed will be read by people who do not play multiplayer and game breaking aspects needs to be included as a notification during install. This is not something that would require months of development...I am a developer and I can tell you this could have been done in under five mins time.
I probably have vastly more
Zombie, I'm going to try to have some custom audio files in for you by the time you make the next update. When do you think the update will be ready by so I will have a time table?
Putting an ETA on anything mod related is generally a bad idea. It's better to say I'm working towards an update. Beyond the syntax issues with the new update I have a lot of new research to integrate with every faction for unlock
Assert @ C:\Projects\P4\SinsRebellion\Release\CodeSource\GS/Entity/Interfaces/ITitan.cpp(272) m_UnspentUpgradePoints > 0 I keep getting it as my titan levels naturally in the dev.exe...I also seem to get infinite ability points....
You do realize some asserts are more like debug statements and not actually errors.
Overall my point is that the devs seems to have set up this game only thinking about the people who play multiplayer and completely ignored the single players who just want to play the game. Something I really think needs to be addressed.
This simply isn't true. Overpowered elements in Single Player games limit the strategies players use. There are lots of <a href="http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/6400/understandin
Forbidden Worlds adds more game changing content than the Diplomacy expansion did for twice as much.
Pretend I have no idea what you just wrote and explain further.
Yep, it's pretty much fubar right now. Lots and lots of little changes to make to support 1.5 and the DLC.
Does any one know if there is a way to return to sose rebellion ver 1.1? I told steam NOT to update the game automatically, but it did any way and now I am stuck on 1.5 and do not know if the current version of the mod will work properly with rebellion 1.5 I'm usually a fan of steam, but this is a pretty lame bug to encounter especially when I perfer mods to the actual game.
You
That meaningful difference would concern the gameplay, not the logic of the technobabble.
When have you been concerned with meaningful gameplay [e digicons]o_O[/e]
Where you able to go online before from the same machine and network? Are you able to ping ico2.stardock.com:8000 outside of the game? Doesn't sound like a game issue at this point. Worst case open a support ticket with sins.
They could have done so much more with Social and Industrial improvements had they used the PlanetBonus entities :(
delete your rebellion.user.settings and try again...
WTF? . Beta testers should have caught this one. Change that to fileName "Skin_Tech" and you should be rockin'
Who says they didn't.
I do not see the third done in any capacity.
Apparently the 1.1 set I compared against didn't have the latter so it's a non-issue.
Sure, 5 dollars on top of the pile we've already sent them for four different versions of the same game. It's just 5 dollars, right? And another 5. And another 5. Come on, it's just 5 dollars!
I guess you only eat at a restaurant once then move to a different one... because surly there is no way you spend 8 bucks for a quarter pound deal at McDonalds and then go back for the same exact meal. I mean really, you
Quoting ZombiesRus5, reply 2And don't think I'm picking on Maelstrom as I'm a fan of his work- but this applies to all mods including my own. Oh this DLC will help Distant Stars immensely. That is when Nacey releases the code to me.
Ya, I didn't cover this enabled more modding features. The new planet bonus options are pretty good too. Just thought the guy is missing the difference from a
