Life: What's your ISP? What's your router? Are you using a wireless card? Can someone at Stardock log on to his account and test the download in a different location? Can you take the computer to a different internet source and try to download it? I'm really curious as to what is causing this issue.

The FPS genre will continue to move forward. Companies are still producing new engines (like Valve's Source), and as long as they do that companies won't have to invest a lot of man hours to get a decent game. Team Fortress 2 still has a decent following. I'd also recommend a game like Demigod or League of Legends, both have huge team elements and a FPS kills/deaths mentality.
I wouldn't mind my computer auto-downloading demos of new releases, actually - if we could just get a smart way of figuring out when I'm not using my computer and no one else is using my internet connection, I'd be all for it.

Yes, if they pre-order they will automatically get into the next round of betas (whenever that is). And Christmas is only about a month away, so not that long of a wait. :)
First, make sure everyone has updated their game to the latest version - you shouldn't see versions that aren't the same as your own.

I like sigil the way it is, but it is used so often - you'll almost never see a top level player play without one - that I wouldn't mind the price being bumped up a bit, to say, 750.

The moving off the screen makes it sound like it definitely should be getting a signal. Try setting minimal color quality and resolutions for it, otherwise a bad cable is what I'd guess.
I think it means that it detects two monitors, but when you click on each one you can set the resolution. the second monitor is off unless you flag it as "attached." Other than that, I'm not really sure what could be going on. =\ EDIT: I'm looking at the properties screen, not the driver window.
Ah, good point - a monitor won't display if its getting a signal for a higher resolution than it supports.
I know you said you disconnected/reconnected the cable without any luck - could the cable itself be bad? I wouldn't worry about the drivers so much - windows PnP drivers should be plenty enough for most displays.
