Now, where Stardock and GPG are obviously different is that GPG is far more professional than us. They’re true pros and so tend to keep their cards closer to the vest. Whereas, we tend to be very public to the point of recklessness at times as this post makes pretty clear. [e digicons]:)[/e]
FYI, I only follow three gaming companies. Of those three, I buy almost every game. Stardock is one of the three explictly because th

More logical facts #14. The longer the horn on the unicorn, the longer the total body length of said unicorn.
Death penalty citadel upgrade = total waste of gold. That's terrible. The final spot on death penalty should allow dead players to spawn anywhere they want. While they're dead they can ghost around and choose their spot. OR... from the very first rank, players can choose their spawn point but it has to be within 15 meters of the health crystal. Further ranks would increase the spawn range. OR... in addition to reducing respawn time, these upgrades wou
Sorry, don't have time to read all the replies. But you should make the hero portrait clickable for spell targeting, as called out here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/356887
Having team portraits would also be useful. Kinda sucks trying to select a teammate for an action in the chaos sometimes (often). Customizable size so as to not take up much of the view would be good. And freaking name plates in the actual game world ("oh wait, haha, so many mobs I didn't see that enemy demigod there!"). There are a lot of little niceties that should be here, and I hope they take a bit of time to get them added in
Extra karma for excellen
Comebacks are rare. The most reliable comeback is ninjaing enemy portals when you've got giants. I'm pretty comfortable with the way it is. You're only in a position where you can't come back if you've been sucking. If I've been beating you for 15 minutes, I deserve the win. It should be rare that you've played terrible for 15 minutes and then manage to get the win anyways.
You mean a verb, right?
Nouns... verbs... All of this nitpicking over "grammar" and "facts" just gets in the way of authentic human-to-human communication. You can call it a verb if you like. I'm going to stick with noun. I invent my own truth.
Yes I did and I replied with an anecdotal example, where one team was a locking and always fighting on the middle flag in Cataract. I was making the point that they spent so long fannying around with it, that they were not wailing on creeps in a lane, the creeps were dieing mostly to the towers. Therefore it was a waste of their time and gold.
Bonus points for using fanny as a noun.
Flag - 250GP Spawns it guarantees - 1.5 XP per lane @ War Rank 1 = 33 XP XP per lane @ War Rank 2+ = 46.2 XP 250 GP to guarantee that much XP over 45 secs is most probably not the most efficient use of that money, especially if you are at level 5 plus. Now locks on portals/gold mines are different, but locking the XP flag or similar is most probably not an efficient use of money. Locking a lane flag is also
If I see someone using a lot of potions, then I am happy, it means that I can force them down on health till they have to use the item, then I just back off (I am 275 GP/ 400 GP better off). I think they are only useful as a full time strategy with inexperienced players who tend to go for the straight up fist fight and don't back down. A better player will always be manouvering around and watching what their opponent is doing. That said they do have their place,
Sometimes consumables are necessary toward getting better gear. Never underestimate the power of a quick heal; it can prevent your death and cause an enemy's death at the same time. Anyways, I think we've all beaten this poor horse to death, eh?
Maybe so. I look at it this way: Potions provide a one-time high impact benefit in the early-mid game. Persistent items provide a repeatible moderate impact in the early-mid game. It's analagous to sprint
you get 1000 gold, buy another and some armor
True - that's an option. But you've got to give up something for the potion. What are you willing to give up for your potion?
early helms suck anyway, odds are your health will be so low you'll have to go back at some point because of that
WTF? Dude, look at the math. The early stuff is the best stuff. Banded Armor gives you 72 health per 100 gold spent. The next most efficient item is Unbreakable Boots at 40 health per 100 gold spent. Buy the Banded Armor, use it early game. When you need a little space, sell it and get 320 gold back. All the other
ps, you can buy armor and a potion too
Ya. But I can't buy Armor + Helmet + Potion. The point is real simple: The money wasted on potions is lost, can't be spent elsewhere. Level 1, can only chose one path (or mix a little bit between a couple but I can't have it all. Banded Armor + Scaled Helm Banded Armor + Scalemail Preist Idol And then later... do I want to buy gold at level 3? XP
Pffft. Potions are inefficient, only useful if you're able to trick an opponent into overextending. In other words, only useful against noobs. Better off investing in items that will give you a long return, like Scalemail or Banded Armor.
Naw man he already got nerfed, his damage isnt outrageous anymore with bite or anything, at this point in time I think every demigod is pretty balanced imo.
CONCUR! Nerfbat not required.
Quoting kajexdraw, reply 9 @Zechnophobe: For your Reg&Erebus suggestion: Surely ANY two demigods working together can take down 1 other demigod? I would have thought that being to take down two or MORE DGs makes a good pair. His point is that Erebus can quickly rush in to help Regulus in a 1v1 situation as opposed to other DG who aren't as mobile. The slow on bite and stun on mass charm means that it will be extremely hard for the other DG to escape, which is s
CONCUR! +1 Karma for simple, intuitive recommendation.
A missed connection... is it love? We hope so.
I'd recommend one of two strategies: Ignore the Rook. Use a different DG, maybe Torchbearer. Good luck out there!
What has Pasta Sauce have to do with DG?
DG was originally a cooking game. Check the LUA files.
Oak + Heart is a noob build.
Well. Gotta say, this has been very interesting. I was ready to abandon my position, clad in a cloak of shame. But the internets, ever vigilant for the travails of the weak and just, have exonerated me. Is 32% the right number? Of course. What about 15%? Is that relevant? Highly relevant. I stand before you, chastened for my overly zealous defense of the number 15 but exalted for that same defense. Shadow_Avenger, standing
