Thanks for the response +1

I thought stardock said they weren't pushing the release schedule and thought the game was 'done'. So I don't understand how such an obvious bug was missed if it happened in beta and it was being reported. It's really annoying when beta people put the effort in and things like this get through anyway.
Have the retail disks been sent out yet? I'm guessing they aren't patched up to date
Yeah unfortunately they have a pretty bad system, you have no choice but to use impulse. It's a pretty poorly designed interface, but it mostly works. (who the hell thought it was a good idea to have a lightning bolt as a menu icon? please take some interface design classes)
I run XP 32 bit , and get most of the same issues - with the excetion of CTD during a game (if i dont alt-tab etc). I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with 64bit operating systems.
Lol... most cereal is pretty unhealthy... espeically the ones that end up with chocolate milk If you don't learn to cook, you don't deserve to eat i.m.o :)
This game is all about multiplayer - personally I think it would be pretty silly to exclude multiplayer from the demo. Imagine people trying to get their friends into the game, if they can't do that by playing multiplayer with them then you may be losing potential customers. If you only give access to single player, then people will likely be focusing on the sub-par single player experience which has no campaign, story or anything.
You could make the single player demo unlimited time, but the multiplayer of the demo only available on weekend or something - maybe analyze your data and pick the night with the lowest population to allow people with the demo to join normal multiplayer games. This will allow retail people to have more people to play with as well.
+1 for ultimate type spells ona long cool down, these could cost more than 1 attrbute point, so by getting it you lose the opportunity to get max level on some other ability. definitely no recipe crap though and yeah being able to use terrain strategically would be nice.
Items play such a large part in this game at higher levels, it can get to a point where all DG's can't kill other DG's unless you gang up on them - so if you played a 2 hour game I would be surprised if you could kill eachother at all. This goes for just about any demigod in 1v1 once you have your pick of artifacts.
Regarding the OP - when can we expect these changes to take place? Am I going to get to play multiplayer this week or do I have to wait another week again? I'm unsure if you plan to beta the whole multiplayer thing or if we are getting an official patch any time soon?
Or they could just add the ability to ignore a person in chat, which would be preferrable.
Yeah but this only happens if there is a tower close enough to attack you anyway. It is a shame it's just visual effect, could have been a cool mechanic for the rook.
This is exactly what happens when people have to wait for multiplayer to be fixed :)
True, transparency is great - I just hope they have the ability as well....
Do a search for simspeed, the engine that runs that supcom and demigod is not for the faint hearted (cpu's)
There are plenty of girls playing, they just have man parts. Yes some of my friends play like girls and cry after we beat them to a pulp :)
Since you have played Wc3. Just imagine you are in control of ONE of the heroes, and everything else is controlled by the AI. That is essentially what it is, you are controlling one hero and get to level him up, gear him up etc - you don't get to control minions other than from your spells or items. Regarding the tower issues, towers have a certain range so you shouldn't have been attacked by a tower outside its attack range. If you were struck by lightning or som
I think that you should just cap the favor at 200 or something, at least then they get too see how it works and can use the first couple of items.

A multiplayer demo is very rareG!
I've seen plenty of multiplayer demo's, sometimes you get multiplayer only demo's as well where you can't play the single player part. Steam also does demo stuff like the free left4dead weekend where anyone can download the demo and play with everyone - so this is anothe

Even if you have set everything up correctly you will probably still have problems, we have all setup proper port forwarding etc and used both gameranger and the built in impluse stuff - in both cases we had issues. They both seemed to work OKAY for 2v2, but 3v3 always seemed much worse for us. Of course this is also relying on the people you are playing with to be setup correctly as well. Just install game ranger and see if it helps you..
Yeah it is a pretty annoying bug, I don't understand how it didn't get picked up in the beta tests.. It happens very often so it's hardly a random bug or anything.
I'm the opposite as well. I want quicker shorter games. So tower strenghth = low. spawn rate = fast. Games are usually shorter this way.
Wouldn't this make towers completely pointless? You might as well not have them :P To me this seems like you are completely throwing away a big strategic element of the game. Anyway
