However, as it's already been stated in this thread that your SIM speed is fine, and then dives, shows me that your computer is running several programs in the background causing the p

My understanding would be that Pre-made groups would be matched only against other pre-made groups. If a pre-made group wants to PUG-Stomp they'll throw up a Custom Game, however if they want a challenge they'll hit the match making service.
There are just too many bad pugs. I've decided that a 0-5 kill rule is autoquit. If the combined team is 0-5 before they get a single kill, i leave 100% of games. Learning how to turn them around, or at the very least learn how to better handle yourself in these situations, is pointless because yo
Well I replied to the part of your reply which appeared to be directly responsible for your current chain of thought rather than the idea itself, which is currently available in several games. In custom games, setting a Ping threshold is entirely plausible and acceptable. It will, no doubt, be used in the many US based Custom Games to limit the ping of the connecting people to numbers as low as 80 - however it is their game, and they control the rules. I wouldn't recommend limiting th
hahaha how cute, but no, you're a moron.
And your solution to losing a game isn't to practice a little more and developer a counter-strategy, rather to come on to the forum and making a post about how removing core items - namely the ones that allow other players, when in combination to their play style and chosen Demigod's abilities, to beat you - will create a better game for everyone (read: Busdude).
I only wish that consoles die out and the PC takes over. ... no more of this "download content" crapola (it's either a patch or an expansion, and patches are free and expansions add alot and cost money, not you pay-for-both-but-we-call-it-download-content). Oh yeah? Try SIMS 3. DLC for 6 times the game box's price to be had from day 1. And most of the stuff should actually be included. So now we know EA's new strategy. Promi
Because I really, really, REALLY want to play without the goddamn heart of life. Overpowered as fuck, makes managing mana worthless, you can just spam your entire bar and get it back, or heal to full. This would apply to favor items too, to hell with the swift anklet. Maybe put a limit on the number of banned items, maybe 5 or so, so you don't get people banning absurd amounts. But then again, no one is forcing you to play those.<br

So... because a person lagged twice, instead of thinking that they're connection/computer is generally quite crap and/or that they're suffering from several of the issues that have plagued others - such as random lag spikes, progressively worse performance, random SIM Speed drops, etc - you believe they've ALT+Tabbed out of Demigod, without crashing I might add, and begun loading up programs to eat up the bandwidth to annoy their opponents into quitting the game instead of just leav
Right on Tiduz, reading on the internet is so damn uncalled for! [e digicons][/e]
I remember this very question being asked on several forums I've posted on. I came across a medical diagram breaking down the inner workings of a Troll's brain so that we might better understand it.
Then you wait for them to turn on the rest of the proxies, which are currently not being used. Think of North America as the guinea pigs, only less cute and not as delicious.

Excellent ideas, however I'd like to make a suggestion with
Rage Quits If a person quits the game without the team concede and the game lasts more than 10 minutes longer, that person gets a rage quit. In the connection dialog, that person’s rage quitting percentage will be displayed as “Disconnect %”. Players with a high Disconnect % will likely get booted in lobbies and will be put further back in line for skirmish and pantheon games.[/quo
I have yet to see a single person in any game who's entire tactic is to elevate their Ping to frustrate the opposition into leaving - which if I'm not mistaken voids the game anyway - and I've seen some bat-shit crazy tactics such as constant microphone bombardment, insults and 'n00b sp34k' all in an effort to put off their opposition so that they have an edge mentally.
I've also discovered that Freedom Force is now US$4.99 and the original Splinter Cell is also US$4.99 and have been enjoying these amazing games again. If Demigod was working, I'd most likely never have found them.
Something funny is going on, none of my replies are showing - and I've used three different computers running either IE or FF. Strange.
Personally, if the game's multiplayer worked for more people I think the game would sell itself. As it stands, if someone asked me about Demigod I'll tell them to wait till it works even though it is a good game. I'd make a point for them not to buy the game because I know how much of a nightmare it's been for me thus far. Once it works, I'll sing it's praises and begin shepparding the masses, however until then I don't see the point, regardless of how much I like S
Same actually, it's rather frustrating. I think their performance update isn't working as intended.

I think the better solution is to contain it to a handful of threads as opposed to every person making a new thread. An entire section of the forums dedicated to Rage Quitting? No thanks.
