Depending on what checker you use, for example Shields Up!, when it reports your ports as closed, thats actually a good thing as it means it can at least find them, however it did not receive a response. If it reported them as stealthed, which means they were unlocateable, it means your port forwarding is not working as the ports appear invisible to anything sending a request. I'm not an expert on Networking or the operations of ports, however I have used PortForward.com in sever
It does indeed sound like a driver failure. Do you have any driver versions different to the one you're currently using to test? Do you receive this kind of malfunction during any other game or program? Does it occur at the same time in every game?
... vampire blood has both positive and negative effects, depending on the intended use.
Interesting, I hadn't thought of that. Being that you can already drink the potions and use the scrolls that your allies drop when they die, this would already be balanced and it functions fairly well on a lore level. Excellent suggestion.

Rook's Towers can be overpowered, however it's fairly situational so it's not fair to say that they're overpowered against every Demigod in every situation - which was the case with Erebus' Bite, although I don't think it needed quite as large a nerf as it received. The next Demigod I think needs a balance adjustment is QoT; buff rather than a nerf though.
Er.. Chaos, what the hell was that post? Lord Carlos, I can't find any reference to this kind of issue. Try updating your sound drivers first - be sure to select the correct ones otherwise you may very well lose sound altogether - and see if that makes any differences. Next, try alternating your settings - for example I'd recommend turning off Reverb and playing and see if that makes any differecnes. However, apart from that I don't have a solution or any tips to offer.<
I actually played a game last night against Deepjay and company and was thoroughly destroyed because I was too focused on fighting the Demigod in front of me, and was less aware of the Demigod coming from behind. I don't intend to repeat that mistake ;)

Well, it is called Silence... I'd assume it's a bug, however I can't say I've experienced it yet. What are your audio settings?
Can we please avoid clogging up the forums with re-posts of the same threads please. Thanks.

I love UB, however I've found that he's very easily countered with a +speed stacking Reg who, in the mid-late game, just destroys UB too fast.
God damn it, I forgot to check the card's rules. My fault guys, sorry.

I'd be happy with all of the OPs ideas.
I'm not a fan of this idea. I think it would distract you away from the main object of the game; defeating your opponent. Farming the opposing factions creeps for a level advantage provides two incentives - your fighting your enemy, possibly pushing further down your lane and your getting gold/exp as you do so. This idea - as it plays out in DotA - leads people to ignore their lanes for chuncks of the game at a time to farm these neutral units so that they can overpower their opponent
I feel the nerf is warranted, however perhaps not to the degree that has taken place. Bite is a core component of how Erebus opperates - it's still quite viable, however and I'll wait till I get some hands on before I pass judgement. It's clearly not going to be the only balance chance in the patch - it may well balance out.
I think, alternatively, the Finger of God's rate of fire should be lowered. Now, when the Forces of Darkness's FoG strikes, an in game version of Ozzy Osbourne is summoned at that location, cueing the classic 'Smoke on the Water' riff to play once, while he gives the randomly targeted Demigod the finger - who then explodes into Bats and is killed instantly. When the Forces of Light's FoG strikes, it summons an in game version of Frogboy - appearing out of a swarm of bees, accom

Wait a second, I'm forgetting Ultima IV. Shaped my current thinking on video games as well some things not related to games at all. During the course of the game, the player had to adhere to strict virtues - had to be kind, honest, caring, selfless, etc - to succeed. Basically invented the whole "Good/Bad" system, punishing the player for being bad by not allowing them to proceed.

You denied the creator of the game profit for their product you now have. This is in direct violation of the law, namely Copyright, and is also morally wrong.
