Today i played 3 games with some friends. Since we where winning some emokid started to quit the game. After 1 or 2 quited i would get desync's with my friends. Resulting in the fact that my stats in Custom Games are set on LOST instead of winning. Only the host got a Win on his name. Any place they can iether correct that or remove the game score?
That's a different issue - you can't trust the recordkeeping at all. Here's a game t

This sounds suspiciously like your ISP is throttling you.
Desync has been happening about 50% of the time when people quit, ever since the connection patch, from what I've seen.
Is Devil Summoner 2 good?
Yes.
However, there are times where it fixes itself, or can. So wait a few pop ups before leaving
I've never seen it permanently fix itself in game. Maybe it can fix itself after more people leave, but that's far too high a price to pay. The main thing that gets me about this is that the desync doesn't seem to DO anything. As long as you click the box over and over and over the game i
Yes Stardock could find a new method of monetization if they placed ads within the desync error windows. If you do, you owe me a cut for the idea!
The router is part of the PC package. Configuring your router is important and should be something everyone learns to do. It's not that hard, either. And if you don't know how, just plug the internet straight into your computer. Oh, you need the router? Then you should learn to use it, same as anything else.
So not only do you have to deal with leavers on occasion. Sure, they partially ruined the game, but someone on the other team agreed to drop too. Or something. Anyways, it doesn't matter because now everyone is desynced. Whatever that means. Doesn't seem to actually affect the gameplay but the game feels compelled to pop a nice fat error window in front of you obscuring your vision, eating your commands, and making playing impossible until you click "Ok"</
Don't you think at some point that tips the scale the other way?
No? Each team would get X gold/second, regardless of the number of players. No imbalance there. The hero kills from being down a man will probably make the difference, but each hero on the leaver side would have better items thanks to the gold redistribution and such they might have a chance.
I don't think splitting the meager gold of someone who ran out and got killed by towers twice in the first 5-10 minutes is really gonna sway a game much.
Also split the continuous gold they would have been getting among the other people. That's a lot of gold.
Chess is a 2 player game, you can concede. A team based game, the reality is that the individual member, can choose not to play, it may not be the honourable thing to do, but it is done.
So what is the problem with honorable people not wanting to play with the dishonorable people? Again, you would not tolerate this in real life, but it's somehow ok on the internet. Have we really become that morally bankrupt?
It's not that I don't get
Infinite, you agreed with this in another thread before. What changed your mind?
What do you mean? I've forever supported the solutions I posted. Coincidentally - they're the same things that happen in Dota (in Dota you could take the leaver items, but I think you should just get the gold here) I know it works because I've won games of Dota even with people having left on my own team.
Personally I think the only solution for the AI is complete removal. The main problems are that it NEVER flees, and completely disregards incoming damage in its decisions. (Runs into towers, ignores 2v1 demigods attacking it, etc) And it will often just stand around for no reason.
I don't think there's any way to legitimately save a game with these wacky solutions. If anything the following should happen: 1. Leaver demigod is removed, NO AI. 2. Leaver's gold is distributed evenly among remaining people. 3. Leaver's items are sold at half value and money again evenly distributed. 4. Optional - Death penalty for team is reduced by proportion of leavers lost (1 leaver in 3v3 = Death Penalty -33%). Or the death penalty for the ot
Keeping my own views aside, I think maybe that is an assumption. Obviously if they are leaving they are not making the same commitment right?
If I play a game of chess with you I assume you made the same commitment I did not to steal your pieces off the board when your back is turned. It's called sportsmanship.
There seem to be three kinds of lag spikes also: The ones where the game starts slideshowing, but still moving forward. This is the traditional "someone's ping just shot up" The ones where the game completely stops moving for a little while, but you can still type messages and people can chat. No idea why this happens but it occurs every couple games. And the ones where the connection window pops up and someone's timeout time starts increasing.&nbs
So basicly the entire industry has some strange half scale rating system where halfway to the top is the worst possible score
~9-10 = A ~8-~9 = B ~7-~8 = C ~6-~7 = D The numbers are not linear, as you can see. It's just the way it is. Add plusses and minuses to the grades near the end of each spectrum.
You can tell if someone mysteriously disconnects after you kill them (or kill towers and get their portal or something) that it was intentional. The game cannot tell though.
