Well I would say that even though there are no tactical combat that doesn't mean that you can't improve the combat screen, or some of the mechanics.

I wouldn't mind handing my trade over to the private sector. I wouldn't mind seeing imigration from other species. I can see a private sector of research. This is at least a realistic approach to a more realistic game. Not sure how this would change the game mechanics any more than giving the governors more automating options to change. This is an idea that sounds good.
Quoting yarodin, reply 24 That's logic, but would give the Yor a too much an advantage during colony rush. They could settle every world in reach where as all the others would have to pick the worlds that are suitable for them. Either the Yor would must have another disadvantage during that phase (slow population growth or something like that) or they can not colonize every type of world - eg. radiation types becaus

I'm amased that this is not classified as a virus. When u try to unistal a cyberlink product. First I'm surprised that my macafee virus checker doesn't flag this as a virus. What good is a virus checker that doesn't work. When you uninstall cyberlink software it will keep replicating itself nonstop in memory. If you delete this instead of add remove programs same thing. If you use your task manager to end program it will not stop. After this I would say never use cyberlink pro
4X can absolutely be fun multiplayer. People should stop dismissing it - any game (especially 4X) is much more fun to play with a friend along for the ride. Teaming up against the AI is the only way I play Civ5. I find it empty without another human in the same world.
I don't think this is dismissing multiplayer, but you do have to consider the focus to work on. It is basically saying that games have to focus either on mu
How about neural network based AI? Dont program it, let it evolve on its own!
I would like to see a combination of both ideas. I do think this should at least be above tough level.

Maybe the planet penalties are to much. That would be a solution to the problem. This is a nice idea for maybe an option on the game I would play it sometimes othertimes I wouldn't. You would have to make it that if this option was on then all planets would come in an even appearance if you do this as an option to the game. I would have to make the humans Terran, but the other races would come from random types of planets. Why not random classes on starting planets why you are at it. I th

A couple of things I can't afford it, but if you send me a ticket with a place to stay I would more than happily try to show up. I would like to have a meet and greet in Tucson Az I hear it is nice this time of the year. We could to this through a free video thing on the internet. That would be cool.

Actually I thought the idea was working with the person who was playing on the computer, but the online idea is good to. You could make an option to download this from the internet to. This would make for multiplayer. This could be expanded not just for tech research, but also the units on the planets to, but this does have to be able to be modified by the type of stuff not necessary the exact stuff so this can work on different tech trees.
Do I get a Steam Key if I become a founde don't know what a "founde" is but I haven't seen anything about a steam key being handed out if you were one lol... Okay really I'm assuming like everyone else did that you meant founder and yeah what they said
There are two packages that stardock is offering for testing the new game. One is for 99$ it will get you the Alpga, Beta, and any other

I'm guessing this is a post about suggestions you are making and not about all our suggestions there are plenty of posts about that. Don't Galactic civilizations already have planetary bombardment its one of the planetary invasion techs. maybe if you clarify some more on what you are saying. I'm guessing that you want to see your planetary bombardment on the game not just select it as one of the options before you invade. I can't see a reason why we can't select an

Yeah I did see the picture above. Looks like I think is the most creative looking alien Yet. Hey do you think it is some kind of insect. Other than hydrocloric acid instead of water I thought had a lot of insect qualities about it.

Well this is in response to reply 115 and 118 if there is any idea that suggests that your space is closed off unless you have open borders then I don't want any idea remotely like this. I don't really care how the Ai views me encroaching their territory. I'm not talking about you trying to forcefully throw me out of your territory. Uf this is really to hard of an option then we can forget about the whole thing. You do always have the option of not using this option. I think the A

I would like to see better graphics all around. With the planet finding mission, did you know that they only find planets about 1 in a thousand that don't have an elipse of 0.67 or greater. That makes only about 10 with an orbil like ours, and 80% of them are in our solar system. That's just the beginning they have found planets that were gas giants that were 100 kilometers from their star. They have found way to much planetary mass in other solar systems. They even have found mercury

Moo3 Master of Orion 3. I played the second and the first. It looked like it might of been a good game for its day, but from what I could see it was limited on options. The graphics were cheesy. Not enough races. That was my opinion, but a lot of people think it was the bomb on these posts. I don't think it is worth playing. Right now I will try Distant worlds. I don't think a three race concept is better it works, but why would it not be better to do that to 12 of more races.

As far as Iunderstood is they were referring to how the game worked, and in reference to what the focus was. For instance if the tech tree set was really good for single player, but causing the species to have a mediocre tech tree in multiplayer. As far as the invisible mechanics on how the game plays it would not make a difference, so I would go ahead and suggest a model. On how the species is played though the most important thing is single player, and I agree with this. What is this post a

Well as long as everyone agrees that you should not be able to arbitrarily close off your borders without more force than the other guy have I'm satisfied. Thanks for the updates. Next time I suggest something no more quoting from Scifi stories. If I remember the dread lords manual correctly it said that game wise the distances in the solar systems and between solar systems were different. I thought that the distance to pluto was 36 Au that's what my textbook o
