I've had this happen to me in a 2v1 situation with a TEC Loyalist opponent (We couldn't make headway into his territory because of his buffs.) I swear to almighty god... It was already getting bad, and then he jumps his fleet of an Ankylon, 80 LRMs and over 600 Corvettes and I thought my computer was going to explode. (I exaggerate, but nonetheless, my ally had it even worse.) All the while he taunted us and told us to quit repeatedly. Had I actually lost beca

Given that if you did that with any other ship, including the Ragnarov, it would have been dead, I'm impressed. Also it doesn't need a fleet to take on the pirates, it can do it by itself at level 1, including the Gauss Guns, if you take them group by group.
We also have to take into account Loyalist buffs in friendly grav wells, how many of these people who have stopped the Ankylon with a starbase had those? Also whether the Starbase had repair bays, hangar defenses, gauss platforms, etc. supporting it. Because if so, that's not just a starbase, that's a defensive network, which no, a Titan can't really beat alone, that's what Ogrovs are for.
Pirates capitals are against the lore of the game, so those won't be appearing. I'd like an explanation of that. These are pirates in a 25 year long war. Crippiled capitals will have been left behind countless times in places the pirates could have grabbed them. Not to mention it would be fairly sensible for one or more factions to provide a capital direct to help turn the pi
And that would be the cost of having such a high fleet supply, it's designed as such so losing a fleet when your fleet supply is so high that you'll struggle to recover quickly, making endgame fleet battles more decisive.
If you already had that level of research, how the hell were you only getting 10/1/1? You either had no planets, or had gone way beyond your means upping your fleet capacity.
Metal and Crystal Accumulation: While you naturally need more credits than metal or crystal for purchases, the current ratio is extremely imbalanced. For example, in my latest game I was collecting about 10.3 creits for every 1.4 metal and 1 crystal. This was despite having all possible harvesters and refineries. How to Fix: Increase the rate at which metal and crystal are harvested. Reducing credit income would slow the game down too much.
Anything you spend
Maybe it's my lack of a freudian mind, but am I the only one not seeing these ships as vaginas? My initial reaction to both was that they had an aesthetic of looking like something the Advent would worship, if you will. The Coronata looking like an obelisk or pillar, or an idol embodying something or someone, think how people pray at statues of Mary. The Eradica was designed to look like angelic (the thing was originally named Cherubim for christ's sake), more so no
And maybe add a stacking "frenzied crew" passive ability that boosts firing rates for the flagship for each ship destroyed in the gravity well. Shouldnt be permanent ofcourse, maybe 15-20 seconds or something. Actually now that I think about it, I would like these abilities on the titans
Early screenshots of the Eradica (Advent Rebel Titan) showed it getting a 8% boost to it's attack whenever a nearby allied ship was
The entire point of Last Flagship Standing is that all sides are equal in having 1 key ship to protect, the King, if you will. If you could designate what piece in chess was your King on a whim, it wouldn't be very fun, now would it?
I don't see how the second one is a problem given the enormous buffs Loyalists get in their gravwells, defending against a pirate raid here and there is a cinch.
Even now, years and years into the game, I'm guessing (you can correct me if I am wrong) that long-range frigate spam is as dominant as it ever was.
Eh, for 2/3 races, yeah. Advent early game (if they can survive it) I believe tends to be Seeker, Disciple and Defense Vessels. No more Illuminators with 3 weapon banks all firing at full damage while you micro them through some guy's fleet like I remember from whe
okay AoK if you are not buying the game then why did you get the beta? Is it because all you want to do is complain and put down all the hard work the devs put into the game? if so just go away
He didn't get the beta, he hasn't bought Rebellion. Anyway, such is RTS, Kharma, what is balanced and unbalanced changes like the seasons, when you think you're close, someone out there comes up with something and bam,
So, yeah, because they are different, they will have different names. Can you give 1 example of a tech that is on the same part of the tree for all races and exactly identical, but have different names?
Off the top of my head, the tech that grants 1 additional bank target and flat 10% increase to damage to starbases, pretty sure that's in the same spot for all 3 factions.
With regards to the voice track and just replacing it with a sound, the problem I have there is that right now it's hit or miss, the TEC are just.. irritating, the Advent's is incredibly high pitched, and I can fully imagine taking my headphones off if I'm spamming them. The Vasari though? He just calmly, professionally says "Corvette awaiting your command." Absolutely perfect, short, to the point, not annoying.
It was nuked.
The devs did specifically say (I'll have to dig the post up) that they wanted this phase of beta to be somewhat small, maybe they'll open it up later.
Windows 7 here, no problems.

At the moment, they are not.

And even if the current engine wouldn´t allow Titans to be any bigger, then the devs knew it surely before releasing the Artwork with the Loyalist Titan at least 2 times as big as a Kol and creating false hopes, and in a way lying to us.
N
A pirate capital holding the fort would be 100% A-OK in my book, give it antimatter destroying abilities or something to stop the base being an exp farm for Titans. Maybe they could send them out on those Overwhelming missions you can give to them or something.
Couldn't you get it for like $20 by using the $10 coupon code from the e-mail survey in conjunction with the $10 off from owning Trinity/Diplomacy? That aside, it's just a perk, and we know quite a bit about the finished product now, Titans, Corvettes, 6 Factiosn, etc.
Here's a full list for anyone who doesn't want to dig through all the sound files trying to figure out which are new and which aren't: Advent Loyalist - Fate of the Apostate / Advent Loyalist - In the Name of the Unity / Advent Loyalist - Inevitable Retribution Advent Rebel - A New Call / Advent Rebel - Purity of Memory / Advent Rebel - Revelation and Regret Defending the Colony Invasion Fleet Marauders Rebellion Theme
We already have new tracks. In addition to a few new general cross-faction songs, each subfaction has 3 unique tracks of their own. For example, in the game soundfiles (Steam -> Steamapps -> Common -> Sins -> Sound,) the track "Advent Loyalists - Fate of the Apostate" is the song we got a short clip of in the Rebellion teaser trailer ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gS-VS5WS1B4 ). I believe the devs have said t
