Well a pure AA reg build is also terrible. Soooo... what's the point? I'll give it another go this afternoon, though. It's fun to shoot people for 200+ damage a shot at level 1. Even more fun is saying you got owned by mard's.
k

It's attack speed, not damage. If you're swinging at 110% attack speed and go up to 115%, that's not a 5% increase. Also stats are terrible so two points of them isn't a very compelling comparison.
Quoting lifekatana, reply 42Attack speed boost?? 5 percent. Hey that's 5% more dps. When all you're doing is right clicking, every bit counts!
It's not really 5% DPS for long since you get over 100% attack speed just for leveling up, and if you're going to buy mana pots can't you just buy guantlets of brutality with that money instead when you have the blade?
Also don't go back to CoH until they add dark as a controller secondary. I DEMAND IT.
I think Levi is a much better example of what's wrong with Reg than what's right with him, the first being his extreme mana issues. Reg falls on his face in Cataract, but when you both remove the cooldown flag (potentially an effective 15% mana cost reduction) and add in a 15 MP/S flag he improves dramatically. Then you give him solid health regen which is a disproportionately large percentage of his total health and finally throw in a perma meat shield since people tend to play that map 4v4.
Honestly I think your best bet is hosting your own games for new players or finding similar ones. It seems like there's usually quite a few up.
I'd say 5 are top. Ereb, Oak, Beast, Sedna, Rook. Erebus, Beast, Oak being the standout offensive team. Rook, Sedna, Oak being an effective defensive team. And a few inbetweens can work such as Rook, Beast, Ereb for some nasty triple stun combos.
I really disagree on Sedna.
Ich glaube dass ob du Demigod im Europa kauftest, dann muss du Atari kontaktieren. :/
Being able to play every DG is pointless. There's only four which are especially good and the best players of the worst ones can't win with them in competitive games anyway. Basically you're trying to say that people should be good at a game that doesn't exist... I made that mistake way back in the WC3 days. Every time someone did whatever new fad was most effective after a patch rather than mimmick it I would play my own way and learn how to use a much more complicated counter, immen
I don't really think that upping mine damage is the most logical route. Mines are about the only thing Reg has that actually work well, while there's plenty of other abilities that fall short.

The range is too great to slip past on any commonly played map with lanes. I'm not really sure what I c
hmm interesting idea. What if Mark did an AoE stun that affected everyone BUT the person it was attached to (maybe it interrupts them? dunno hard to gauge how strong that would be but a guarenteed interrupt on their next ability or item use (Sigil, Shield) is pretty brutal). It would be brutal in those 3v3 matchups. It already does sorta-decent AoE damage. Now in those 3v3 matchups having that person effectively silenc
Doing something wrong! He past that point a hundred miles back if someone can do all that crap while still in the tower pasture. also Your not yoru
It's "passed," not "past," and the point of your first line is indecipherable.
So basically everyone who plays Demigod are the best players.
lol Yeah, this list should really be paired down to 5-10 to have any real meaning. There's a lot of people on this list that I would definitely not play against a good premade with.
But towers scale for shit. They are almost worthless once generals hit 1500 armor or assassins get 2k.... On average, this is level 10.
Nothing but Penitence and Beast Within scales well. Towers scale fine. At level 10 they have 2850 HP, cost only 200 mana. They hit for about 190 per shot at max rank and 1500 armor is only 37.5% mitigation; with that level of armor they're still hiting for 120 a pop and you can have eight of the

Here's the real problem with Reg: No matter how good a reg is, how well he kites, or how clever he is, he can never, ever kite me unless I let him as UB or Oak once I have my gear. So while it may be frustrating moving through mines, maim, mark, etc. and being perma-slowed, the only reason why they work on me is because I value my cap locks more than negating them. Why? Because the snare cap is 30%. If I use a Wand of Speed I get a 25% buff, meaning that the max
Yes, an AA reg with Mard's hammer + AF + Slayer's + Mageslayer
Ugh. BotS all the way, the damage difference is paltry and the utility of infinite mana is much more beneficial. A pure AF reg using no other abilities is going to need a helm sooner or later as his attack speed increases. That single weapon slot pushes BotS way over Mard's. Mard's hammer is not a good item.

Just don't use Regulus unless people fellate you over your record every time you join a game. He's not good.
