Thanks pacov. Yeah, it's just the ones from pre-1.3 that are missing. I'd taken a week off of Dg to play supcom2 since it was $10 on Steam, so I didn't have any other replays. I was hoping that wasn't the case because I still hadn't gotten around to watching the second game of the finals. [e digicons]>:([/e] Sigh.

I just tried to load my first replay since 1.3, and when I go into my replays manager, all it shows is my last game. I had no trouble viewing replays before that. I checked my replays folder in My Documents and they are all still there, they just don't show up in-game. What gives? Does this always happen after a patch?

oops! Quadruple post?!? I hate the forum servers some days. Sorry.

Thanks for continuing to post guides, Ninki. We're still seeing a lot of new players, and even for older ones, it is a good way to generate discussion.
Sigils should be nerfed if for no other reason than Dg needs a little shaking up, like when HoL was nerfed, or TB got his Fire AA fixed. If everyone continues to play the same builds with the same items and the same favor on the same map, we will all get bored eventually. I'd rather not see this happen. All they need is a cast time. 0.5 or 1 sec.
Thanks for doing the research, Ptarth. So nice to have you around. +1
It does. It may be that the cost of the slam was about the same as 75% of the total damage you caused. Hammer slam I deals 500 damage in a small area and 100 damage in a larger area for 360 mana If you only hit one target directly with hammer slam I, you gain 15 mana. If you partially miss five targets with hammer slam I, you also gain 15 mana. One of 3 things happened.<br
This is a total noob question, and one I should know the answer to, but... I was using BotS the other day with Rook, and it didn't seem to do anything with Hammerslam. I thought that worked? I was only using level 1 HS, but I was hitting a whole wave of creeps. Shouldn't I net some mana?
Lowest armor is Rook, but I do agree that LE should keep 6.3.
Who decided that a walking castle shouldn't have any armor? Probably the single dumbest thing about DG. He doesn't need to have so many HPs, if they feel he needs balancing, but he should have higher armor.
So I've started getting Frost Nova 2 at lvl 11. It's a nice change of pace to have a decent stun 5 levels earlier. Takes a little longer to get 3x shatter, but it's totally worth it
Exactly. Hmm. 2 second mass stun 5 levels earlier or Biting Chill one level later... No brainer.
Lol. The most irrevlevant necro ever.
what? eh... wait... eh... what? actually then da should be ok as well... and tb can also do massive damage in a short period of time. but they both suck endgame against a beast or oak. dont understand me wrong. occ is good but not lategame.
Well they are not as good, that was my whole point. Without an interrupt they are a liability, because if they are the only one available to tp in to save a portal (say your Queen's teammates just tp-ed in to try and get a
That's not exactly true. You can give them something to compensate for the lack of interrupt AS LONG AS IT ACTUALLY COMPENSATES.
Well maybe, but I don't really see anything out there that CAN compensate for not having any ability to stop a tp or a lock, especially when a few Dgs (TB, LE and Sed) each have a stun AND an interrupt. The only one who does okay without one is Occ, because late game, when interrupts really start to matter, he can often kill you in tha
It's been said a million times, but I'll say it again: All Dgs need an interrupt. Ones who don't have one are inherenty less playable than those who do. Especially on Cataract.
I never get it till then, lol. I cant stand not having a single part of the build.
Yeah. I figured that. It's only in the beta phase, but I've been playing around with getting RoI 3 and 4 levels 11-12. It leaves you short on mana for those couple of levels when RoI doesn't totally fill your bar, but I just prioritize Plenor a little more. The ability to chase people down all game with FB is very nice, before you can a
Never thought of the getting creeps to a base faster...I've actually been getting Fire Aura in those long games from 18-20, so I'm defiantly gunna try that.
I've started doing the same thing, Fire Aura instead of Nova, but actually getting it earlier than 18-20.
I've actually had that happen quite a bit, pretty regularly, in fact. I had a build a while back where I was getting a few levels of ward early on to be strong early game w/o too much mana cost and then the rest after level 10. When I got the first level, at char. level 1, I'd just have three spirits. But if I hit 8 or 9 with only the first level still, I'd notice my army had grown to 7 or more. I think at one point I did count ten. Of course, I don't have any screen shots, but it hap
Whoops!
Lol. I was wondering if pacov would post an LE build here... Great guide, RAWRRRR. Despite my comments on the other thread, this is pretty much exactly how I play Oak 90% of the time. It is very effective, and after 10 is just about unstoppable, provided your teammates are competent. I played at least two games over the weekend where we were losing early and my teammates were ready to concede at level 9, and I was like, "Hold on, I'm just getting started." We ended up winning
You're right. But the only time I get Rally is when I don't get Spirits at all. So then I've maxed DJ, and it's either Rally or one level of Spirits. Oak actually has 32 useful skills (admittedly some are more useful than others). That's what makes him the man.
@ RAWRRRRR I do exactly that build through level 10. At ten (well the decision has been made earlier, but it only comes into play at ten.) At level ten, I either start getting Spirits and one level of Soul Power and then Divine Justice, or stick with a pure assassin build and max everything except Spirits and Morale (and Last Stand). The decision is based on whether or not Spirits are going to be more effective than pure assassin, or if the game is already won in our favor, I'll stick
You don't always have to boulder roll to hammer slam. You can fake hammer slam to have everyone move back rather than attack, you can also fake a slam to make them waste stuns. You'll also find that a lot of the times, you can slam them without getting interrupted anyway.
Especially if you learn to look for the longer cast times- a Tb casting circle of fire, a Oak trying to Surge, and Reg trying to lay mines, etc. These are all
Question: Is Bat Swarm III really worth it? Without additional range, doesn't the extra mana actually make it worse, even if you do a little more damage? I haven't played LE much, so I'm just curious. I don't think its worth it, personally. Especially when you consider his other level 15 options.
I'm confused. It is in your build. Do you get it or not? Also, and this is just small, but you save at 9, then only get one skill at 10? I'm assuming you m
