Children exposed to divorce are twice as likely to repeat a grade and five times likelier to be expelled or suspended from school, according to the article "Divorce's Toll on Children" by Karl Zinsmeister. In the early months after a divorce, young children especially, are less imaginative, more repetitive and passive watchers. They tend to be more dependent, demanding, unaffectionate and disobedient than children from intact families. T
It'd be interesting to have the populace affect build speeds, research rates or have other abilities like wail of the sacrificed.
This could be fun. Though it might cause balancing issues since each race has different planet upgrade techs. In this case, the TEC would probably benefit most if such a feature would be implemented because of their better terran planet upgrades.
To add to what Goa already explained: This ability also works when you have a capital ship of any kind without owning a single Progenitor Mothership. To make myself clear: Let's say we have a level 7 Halcyon Carrier. It dies in combat. Now I build a Progenitor Mothership. I play with it for about 2 hours, get it to level six and unlock the Resurrection ability. Now I build a new Halcyon carrier. I cast Resurrection on it with my Progenitor Mothership and voila, it is now&nb
Confluence of the Unity also simply increases culture spread rate, like Zealous Worship and Unwavering Belief etc. They should update the infocard of the Cunfluence of the Unity research subject when you already have Unwavering Belief researched. Right now the description remains the same. The tech does work the way it should, though (as SithLortAJ pointed out in some other thread).
When one of your capital ships dies and the Progenitor is in the gravity well, the Progenitor will "store" the destroyed Capital Ship's level (let's say 7) if it has Resurrection. Then, if it casts Resurrection, on say, a level 2 Capital Ship, the level 2's crew basically become the destroyed level 7's crew, causing it to become level 7.
Which tends to be very annoying in later stages of the game, when fighting an A
Wait what? Whats wrong with the discord.
There is nothing wrong with the Discord... Except that it is too damn big! compared with the other capital ships in the game at least...
I personally think it is worth is. Though I used the pre-order discount that came last year during September, so I got it cheaper than a lot of other people. If you don't own Sins, I would definitely recommend it. You might want to wait for a review in case you do already own trinity. Also because the game is not yet finished.
AI players select the types of Capital ships they build completely at random. So the fact that the Advent you played against got 5 Progenitor Motherships is just pure coincidence. For example: The chance that they would build five Revelation Battlecruisers instead is exactly the same.
I agree that Starbases need to be upgraded with anti-strike craft weaponry. Still not sure what would be the best way to make the Corvettes less overpowered... When playing the TEC Rebels, I use Pirate Reapers against those annoying Corvettes. Because of their longer range, they are much more effective at taking them down than the conventional flak frigates.
I had not seen this happen up until the other night when my flagship disappeared. Yeah, the one that if it dies you lose, that one.
Well than I'm guessing you won that game, unless they finished off your homweorld of course... Hiding your Flagship like that isn't such a bad thing if you come to think about it... [e digicons][/e] Does get annoying when one loses his titan this way though...
I just finished a 9 hour long game versus the AI on a Random Huge Single map (yes, I like playing single player). At some point during the game, I took only 670 damage per Novalith hit on each planet that had a Shield Generator to protect it. I guess the Seige pact combined with fully upgraded Shield Generators make miracles happen. Even my Asteroids couldn't be taken away by the AI. As to the OP: I don't think the Novalith Cannon needs to be replaced by something else. T
Definitely the Scattershot ability. It is highly effective against Corvette spam. If you are able to cast it on a ship, at least...
Well that's a good thing to hear!
Who uses Skype nowadays lol. TS3 FTW.
Or... how about they cost like half their normal price and have no leveling sequence? Let's say they'll have 8 or 10 points to spend in their abilities, but only 4 from start, the others will be received through research. 1st of the Research panel enables the Titan Factory, 2nd allows for Titan build, then the other 2 Researches will give +2 "leveling points" until 8... like the Starbase. I played many SP games vs 8-10 c
That the Eta Sector Remnants aren't affected by TAR is due to the fact that they are (or were) the ones used to protect the Artifact planet that appeared when the Occupation Victory condition was enabled. Because the Artifact planets' defenders are now assaultable by the Rebels too (as they are now a new type of faction like the dev's stated), the Eta Sector Remnants that appear on random colonies will also attack the TEC Rebels, even when TAR is researched.
What if a "launch" sound was made after every build?
That's actually quite a good idea! Wouldn't be as bothersome as the annoying Advent voices repeating themselves endlessly.
Could it be the Reapers returning from Darkspace? Someone call commander Shepard!
I have to love it when the TEC Rebel Titan responds to an attack order with "Eradicate those filthy rats!". The first time I heard that I couldn't stop laughing.
I really liked some shoutcasts by TotalBisquit that he made for different games. Though for this one, the problem was simply that he put the game speeds at all normal instead of fast. Besides that, I second what Sareth stated above. He really should have played a bit more single player to get to master the very basics of the game before heading over to the multiplayer scene...
I think the main downsides of increasing damage and repair rates are both the increase in RAM usage and the fact that it wil be a lot harder to track what is actually going on during a battle. Though if it would be implemented I am sure a lot of people would enjoy a feature like this.
If it's true that the Corsev is only able to capture ships when it's stationed in a friendly gravity well, than that constraint should be removed. The ship isn't that powerful in the first place. I don't see the point in making the ability next to useless when attacking an enemy (or neutral) gravity well...
Seems like a bug. And a new one too! Good job discovering it.[e digicons][/e]
I personally can't stand the voices of the Loyalist Corvettes... It makes me feel like being the emoticon on the right when I build a lot of them: [e digicons]XO[/e] [e digicons]x_x[/e]
Yes they fixed the voices of the corvettes for both the TEC and Advent Rebel factions. I also like both of those better than the Loyalist voices.
