From what I have experienced with the Corsev, the Boarding Party ability only works the way it should on Advent ships right now. I have used it many times on TEC vessels but none of them got captured after very numerous tries (so it doesn't work on Neutral factions nor on TEC Rebels and Loyalists, not sure about the Pirate faction though)... This definitely needs to be fixed.

The best way to prevent superweapon spam at this point in the beta is to make sure that before the start of a game the AI behaviors are set to anything but Fortifier or Random (since Random allows for a chance an AI will still play as Fortifier), since the Fortifier AI tends to spam superweapons way more often than any other AI type does.

What people said here is that Sins does not require a 4.3 Ghz pc but one with at least 1.8 Ghz. Though 2.2 Ghz or better is recommended. In other words: you should be fine with your 2.5 Ghz processor. [e digicons]:)[/e]

The Vasari will be present later during the beta period. They have to test them as well before the official release of course!

After a jump order has been given to the fleet and a new enemy ship jumps in, instead of just ordering the selected fleet to attack it, just press the stop order first and then order the ships to attack. This prevents the carriers and other support ships from moving on to the next gravity well when the other ships attack. Easy fix. No need to change a whole game mechanic for it.

Like Kodiak heavies with beam weapons or something. Damn that would look cool. I think I will mod them to have beam weapons just for fun now that I think about it! [e digicons][/e]

I could post a screenshot here, but I'm affraid they would nuke the thread if I did. Though if you check this video and pause it you can see the size of the titan. Check out the whole vid if you want to compare it with the size of the other titans.

In their original rebellion features list the dev's even stated that there would be "Rebel and Loyalist versions of existing ships". Didn't happen while it would have made the subfactions way more diverse if they did implement new ship versions...
just how does a Titan with thousands of crew, now dead, impart their experience to a newly constructed Titan? nothing about it makes sense.
I think the main idea was that if you lose a higher level titan, the game will be over for you anyway. So in order to grant people that lost their titan a second chance, they refuel a newly built titan with all the XP of the destroyed one. In theory, this seems like a valid argument. But as you
A tech level 6 titan that costs a LOT of resources would be the ultimate game ender for large fleet vs fleet fights. (say 25k credits, 6000 metal and 5000 crystal).
So how would the Advent -with their much weaker economy- be able to get their hands on a titan fast enough to repel those of other races? Generally, I think you are right that the Titans enter the game too soon. After the nerf from the last patch though, low level titans aren't that hard

It really isn't that much smaller than a planet. If the animation for the stripping proces is done right, it could actually look believable. Think about the Ultimate ability from the Jarassul class Evacuator, which looks believable enough as wel

Would be nice if they added a particle effect on the inside of the gun. Something similar to that of the TEC and Vasari Starbases. That would make it so much sweeter to look at.
