I would recommend reinstalling the whole game. Make sure you have your video card drivers updated as well. If this issue persists after you have done this, I am sure Stardock would be more than happy to view your dxdiag file.

Removing Hold Position for Corvettes is indeed a minor annoyance. Though you can still set their attack range to local area or move them away from the battle and have them fly back in when needed quite easily, since they are very fast. Hold Position for strike craft is rather pointless anyway so I don't really see the complaint here. You can just dock them , which is basically the same thing as ordering them to stop. Hell, when they are docked they are even being repaired. La

If the guy can't handle the current editor what are the odds of him being able to write a new one himself? [e digicons][/e] I do agree that the Galaxy Forge tool needs some getting used to at first though. Yet there are plenty of great guides on how to use it present on these forums. I highly recommend checking out the Modding section.

Yea the way it works now is simply too overpowered as well. You can stop an anemy players advance just by colonizing as many planets as you can and immediately stripping them afterwards, leaving nothing for the enemy left to use. When you need your titan to do this work, the enemy has more time to improvise and react appropriately.

In order to reduce lag tremendously, I disabled Debris, Dust Clouds and Asteroids in the Effects tab of the game menu. I noticed a dramatic increase in displayed particle effects since I did this. And the rest of the settings are still maxed out. Don't really keep a close eye on the amount of RAM the game uses though... Still think it sux to have 8GB RAM when only 2 RAM max of it will ever be used. [e digicons]:([/e]

It happens all the time. On all sides of the Starbase. It looks kinda funny I must admit! [e digicons]:P[/e] I also noticed that the TEC Loyalist titan still shoots flak from the center of the hull. These flak bursts are always directed sideways. The front and rear flak guns function the way they should. I would also really like to see the missile ports at the front and rear sides of the titan firing for a change. It looks dumb that they are present on the hull when they do
I've posted about this, it has to do with the faction called Eta Sector Remnants, a neutral TEC faction, with the name of the Vasari from occupation. Not sure why its doing it probably just a faction error.
I think you are right that it only happened with the faction you mentioned. If they removed the Eta Sector Remnants from the "normal" planets and left them just on the Occupation Victory planet, the problem is solved. Shouldn&#

Also, because stripping planets without owning a titan is going to kill you in the long run, it only seems more logical to tie the tech to the titan itself. It would make the Vasari Loyalists that much cooler and would also make more sense when looking at the stripping proces. I mean, those resources have to go somewhere right? And the Titan is where you stack your resources when you plan on surviving without any planets. So just let it suck up the planet. It has a giant ho

I had the same thing happen to me. On most planets it worked fine, but on one planet the defenders started attacking my Colony frigate and I was forced to move a small fleet in to deal with the little scumbags before being able to colonize the planet.

Well, here's a screenshot of me phase jumping a fleet of TEC ships to the next gravity well. Note that there is no gravity tolerance tech or pact researched. Now look at where the ships are at. Besides the strange positions the ships jump from, sometimes a few (capital) ships tend to wait a minute or so before finally turning and charging up their jump drives. Definitely not the way they are supposed to jump... <img src="http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/558686660195391797/6B832BC

Larger planet animations use up more RAM and will result in even more slowdown in later games, especially on larger maps. Besides, gameplay wise the planet sizes that are currently being used are probably better. Sins isn't a simulation, it's a RT4X game. Realism isn't its main goal.
How about a dedicated minesweeper?
This has been requested several times. I would like to see one in game. The Advent have the ability to convert enemy mines to their side using the Drone Host now though.

Just make sure you don't play against Fortifier AI types, they are the ones spamming mines in all of their gravity wells. The other Ai types don't do this as much.

The TEC Starbase also fires some missiles from it's center instead of launching all of them from the actual missile silo's. The beams funcion correctly on my build though...
