Sorry mate,I didnt start posting here alot till late 2012 thats why I mentioned the necro.I love reading the ARRs I get really into them and for whatever reasons (real life?) they stop suddenly! which is disappointing but hey I didnt mean to tread on anybodys toe's and as qrtian knows I do post supporting posts [e digicons]:grin:[/e] as I'm still waiting for him to finish his ARRs.

Ship Designing in Twilight of the Arnor GalCiv2 Forums

I've been designing my own ships for ages ( favourite part of Gal Civ 2 for me) and have a noobish/basic question about the rotation of parts? I've always had mine set at 45 degrees but want to lower it to 30 or 15 degrees! My question is will my templates that were designed with 45 degree rotated parts be still availiable if I start a new game with it set at say 15 degrees as 15 goes into 45 3times? or I have to start from scratch again? Thanks for all and any replies

If I remember rightly? the races have different natural abilities that cannot be tinkered with unless you use a mod so the Korath might have a natural miniterisation bonus that adds to their research some races have research or logistics bonuses etc.

I have GC 2 Ultimate and when you click on the desktop icon the launch panel appears you can play that game (they are different designs for DL,DA,ToA, use switch chapter to change between them and then click play game is how I do it [e digicons]:grin:[/e] The esayiest race to learn is Terran Alliance (how I learnt it) keep the default settings until your comfortable with altering them.I now create my own races and ship styles but it took me awhile and although I've been playing o

I have done a race called United federation and made star trek ships and classes with within than canon,these include: Akira,Enterprise,Ambassader,Galaxy,Steamrunner,Danube,Constellation,Shuttlecraft amongst others! I have also created a Klingon race,Romulan star empire,and recently Cardassian Union I plan to do Dominion/Jem Hadar and Breen in the near future. To take screenshots hold down "Ctrl" and press "Prt scr" button to take pic which you can find off your start menu via the recently changed menu I then upload them to Imageshack and then use the links for the Gal Civ forum.If this helps?

Great read [e digicons]:grin:[/e] Franton, I normally save the 2k BC and buy a Econ Capitol which greatly helps and normally I've got adv econ centres popping which brings my treasury well into the green.
