I was about to vote good, but when i saw this i changed my mind: So its excellent now, and i am sure you will fix the saving/loading crashes until release so i dont have to quit and restart every time i want to load a savegame.
Flohaxn
1. clicking twice into the window makes it look like this: 2. pressing cntrl-v with the cursor positioned in the story window crashes the game, dump and debug here. (I believe when nothing was previously copied into the clipboard) 3. Entering a text, then clicking on a tab like appearence or weaknesses, then clicking back to the summary -> the entered text
Very well written, this should be pinned :)
Would it be possible - if this option is disabled - that the game doesnt switch to a different unit and stays on the one i have selected after pressing end turn? This behavior is somewhat disruptive, and occurs also if i have a town selected because i want to build something next turn.
On the same track, if you want to train something but accidently click 1 pixel below the train button, it builds the topmost selected building. Not having selected the top most automatically would help this too.
Wait .. you mean you can actually alt-tab? I always have to strg-esc to get the start menu and go on from there ..
savegame here.
I think you should up the magic resistance and/or initiative for Torax; guess how often it was his turn to attack me: This was with .981-A, i just forgot to post it then, so if you changed something with him already please ignore this post.
Still occuring in .981. Additionally, if I do that often enough, the music gets confused, i have the combat music on strategic map then and when i enter combat it plays the world music.
This also happens if you have your spellbook open.
This quest used to spawn a golem which dropped a midnight stone to turn in at the armorer, instead it dropped rusty greaves.
Am i extremely unlucky? I havent seen one in the last 20 games minimium (large, with dense monsters), besides the one you get from a quest.
I can't even remember the last time this game crashed or had some real glitch. It's all tweaks, polish and balance and that's where I agree with many people here.
To give a bit of ying to Frogboy's yang, here are my crashes, tested right after the installation of the new patch: 1. starting a new game, saving immediately, exit to main menu and loading, saving again and rinse repeat. crash after
can we have times 3, and times 4 too, I sometimes feel X2 is too slow, and X5 is too fast. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
This would be neat. and specially for Kongdej, in case he didnt know it, you can hold down the shift key to speed up battles :)
and now that i am sober again, some more information :) I unlocked 2 achievments in the last game before i checked the achievments, killed Vetrar and the dude with the libraries.
here is the debug.err
savegame here , hopefully you can find out what is missing.
Ty Gaunathor, well done :)
Another sovereign at level 24 and not once a choice for skilled bruiser level up after getting apprentice bruiser at level 6.
Poor noblewoman will have a hard time to go home:
I really really should upgrade to win7 64bit :) savegame & debug here.
Unfortunately i overwrote the savegame, will see if i can reproduce it.
1. Load up a save or start a new game. 2. Exit FE and restart real quick no debug.err has been created.
