Man, Sean, you weren't kidding when you said you made units cheaper. I can spam 1 production spear chicks rought out of the gate.

Add "-cheat" to the end of Fallen Enchantress target. Mine looks like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\FallenEnchantress\FallenEnchantress.exe" -cheat Ctrl-U unhides fog of war Ctrl-Z starts autoplay turns, you can sit back and watch Ctrl-Z ends autoplay turns Here's a thread of cheat codes: https://forums.elementalgame.com/433136
That first link isn't working - it's giving an error that the network location isn't working. 2nd pulled up fine.
Quoting seanw3, reply 18I modded the AI diplomacy to only gank on the opposite side of the fence. So Altar for instance, would never attack Pariden for being weak. But Yithril will. Like to see that in the vanilla. What did you tweak to do that?
Brad - please review this thread if not already done so. https://forums.elementalgame.com/434917 Tuidjy has provided
Haha, awesome!
I agree default should be off. It's one of the first things I've done in each build is flip that thing off.
Quoting AlLanMandragoran, reply 35@Fistalis - what exactly are we disagreeing on? Nothing, confused Ts comments with willies Another annoyance.. I'm getting +5 because im "dominating a faction".. yet a peace treaty is -5000 in value.. lol Apparently dominating them doesn't make them more likely to make peace if their power rating is higher. I think too much depends on power rat
@Fistalis - what exactly are we disagreeing on?
Just a few other ideas. Balance or add some diplo penalties such as: Can't trust you because you declare unprovoked war - -5 or -10 or w/e value You're top dog and a threat - -5 or -10 or w/e value Another is top tog and a threat - +5 or +10 or w/e value Tweak the "you're at war with my friend so I'm declaring war" thing - dial that back, especially when two factions aren't friends but they declare war on the player anyway.
Here's my two cents. A few builds ago the AI was pacifistic. You could surgically declare on the AI one at a time without the others getting pissed off and just conquer at your own pace. Brad tweaked it so that when you do try to surgically remove an AI by declaring war, the others are like hell no, and mob the player. Now, I think the tweak swung the pendulum a little too far. They act a little crazy right now. I think Tuidjy's comments in this thread are spot on regarding nonagressi
Sean - when installing your updates, is it as simple as extracting the new files into english folder or should I copy back all the vanilla files and then copy in the update? Probably a stupid question but wanted to confirm. Thanks.
Sean - getting a reproduceable crash at end turn when I complete researching drills. Unsure if it's the mod or vanilla, but it crashed last night, I reloaded the autosave this morning, end turn and crash again. Dropbox is down atm or I'd post the full debug. Here's the last lines of debug though: Debug Message: ------------------------- Debug Message: - Ending Turn 67 - Debug Message: Current Memory Usage: 613588 KB Debug Message: Cities in
Great Mill would be fantastic. I'm in an interesting place. Both chokepoints are manned by bandit hordes. Managed to clear the surrounding area, that wild hermit was spittin' fire but I got him. Now to free the countryside of bandits...
The world feels hella dangerous. I like how you've buffed the city defenders with armor. May want to consider renaming those City Garrison since it's a design shift away from ragtag militia. My level 2 capital doesn't feel like a glass house now. I'm sure this will become even more crazy soon. More feedback incoming. Also - those bandit hordes are frightening.
Season 32... As New Kids on the Block would say, hangin' tough.
Damnit! I'm having a hell of a time just keeping the immediate area around my capital clear of flash mob teenage mites and bandits. Hangin' in there but under siege right out of the gate!
It's completely done.
I'm wondering if the devs initially thought of seasons changing the map like they do in Lord of the Realsm II. That game looked cool because winter there was snow on everything, spring everything was fresh and new, etc. The engine problems might have put all that to the backburner. Just speculating. With that said, the fact they left it as seasons instead of months or weeks gives me hope that seasons may change in some future edition.
Sean - BTW, have the utmost respect for guys like you and HF. Now that sappy stuff is out of the way, what difficulty do you recommend to start off with, both world and faction AI? This ain't my first rodeo, but I ain't no Tuidjy. [Edit] So, yeah, I loaded up an insane world map, with expert faction AI, dense monsters (like I usually do), and Sean's horde of mites stack is there to throw a housewarming party on turn 1. There's another one right over t
Alright, time to swallow the red pill and see the maniacal depths of Sean's mind. 3 day weekend, time to install this mod, and fly over the cuckoo's nest. Can you smell what the Rock is cookin'? Here comes papa.
Hi Derek - text spacing on this is out of whack one line 2...
