My condolescences on your break-up, mate. But who needs boobs when you can, like, play with Pacov every night now, huh? [e digicons]^_^[/e]

or maybe it's the mere fact the DGs I play both have nice boobs Reading comprehension issues or just a bad sense of humor, master TB? [e digicons]O:)[/e]
A crazy off-topic: FYI, I'm definitely not female . Some players surprised me recently by systematically refering to me as "she/her", and that's a bit disturbing. Maybe my communication style is somewhat effeminate (I'm generally very diplomatic), or maybe it's the mere fact the DGs I play both have nice boobs. However, no one ever thought Hedgie or Synn are femal
Magnus Rod is pretty awesome for Occulus. Well, Occ and QoT share a drawback of being extremely mana-hungry, so... Also, Sigils > Locks. Always have TPs. No exceptions. But if you have to give up a slot, give up locks. This approach cost me a few games, tbh. I play either Sed or QoT, so I'm what frag-happy people like to call a support. Now, people playing, say, UB, naturally have little to no choice: they
Got a quick test with QoT/UB mirror on Cata, otherwise standard settings, all AI Hard. The good news is I was able to clearly discern that AI QoT shielded her UB consistently more frequently than herself when he was at low health. Good job!
Won't have a chance to test until late tonight, so if there are any other testers floating about, please do. I'll try to test it ASAP.
I think mine is closer to yours, to be honest :) At least, skill progression is closer to yours than to rawrrr's (as outlined in his post on Blood QoT), and you go Shamblers 16+, not Entourage + Tribute. Totally agreed on all points, except, maybe, getting SW3 at all. Yes, it's 650 dmg/25% slowdown/30y as opposed to SW2's 500/20%/25, but that cooldown increase by 50% makes it really really bad. On the other hand, it's not one of those skills you are suppo
I've made a lot of preliminary legwork in this direction (trying to pre-assemble decent teams, drawing more players from Russia/Eastern Europe and Far East - experienced gameranger folks mainly - into the upcoming tourney: they don't speak much English and they don't read forums, as a consequence). Also, I think I have an idea how to solve lag problems for tourney matches. For example, consider a team of doggu, ppapanek, and, dunno, 5J-FOX. No one will be able to play them
Yeah, I know. Tourney issues related to our soon-to-be-famous Turkish artist leaving for a month on 18/12 (without teaching me some Orcun-exclusive UB tricks, as promised! hah! no wonder we have a diplomatic crisis with Turkey!) [e digicons]O:)[/e] PS: Now, for some reason I'm sure everyone will comment on this, and not on the previous post involving build analysis :/
No more discussion? I was begining to enjoy myself... Actually, I wanted to post some thoughts on Blood-Tank QoT build (basically, whatever you and rawrrr play). Up to 15, what I've done was: BS1 > Shambler1 > GS1 > GS2 > Mulch1 (5) > BS2 > GS3 > SW1 > [SAVE] > Mulch2+GS4 (10) > BS3 > SW2 > BS4 > [SAVE] > Mulch3+GoT. Now, I don't really know what to do after 15 with this build. Investing into Entourage, then Tribute, as
Cow, it's obvious Blood QoT is much stronger 1v1 (exactly because of what you say). But for a niche support build, Cape QoT has a nice staying power, and is not really that helpless on her own. In other words, my question was: will a Cape QoT + Renewal Rook be stronger in a lane than Blood QoT + [something] Rook? Now I am not really into theoretical mumblings because you can talk up a build with numbers and mumbo jumbo as much as you want, what really matters i
He was quite apologetic in the following game and did his job brilliantly (eg no real complaints from me). I do not doubt his skill and experience. I just don't like condescending (=disrespectful to the opponents) attitude. It's humiliating for them, and extremely embarrassing for us in case someone f***s up. You want to balance? All right, play a less powerful DG or an unconventional build. But keep your conduct sportsmanlike, dammit!

Anjyways just had me another two goo games, one with bartek and another with klaus. The holidays are good. Yeah, both are really nice guys (and quite decent players, too). Bartek is actually good, but very Darkliath-like in that he likes to play on weaker teams. So yeah... His win % is somewhat inadequate.
Blood queen how me and rawrr play queen is probably the only way to play queen in a pro game. Not trying to challenge your opinion, but let's take a closer look at Blood vs Cape QoT at level 10 (I chose a more or less 'standard' gear for the respective level, based on this info and replays by rawrr: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/387716 ): Blood QoT 10 (2-helm setup: Vlemish, Unbreakables, Banded, Nimoth
wots queen is more support for rook! I had some thoughts about WotS QoT, but Staff of Renewal + Cape of Plentiful Mana have such a nice synergy... Yes, I guess for any other favor Rook, WotS QoT should provide a greater benefit.
Sure, you can hold a lane pretty well and the cape would help keep a rook in a lane longer (primarily early/mid game), but you likely require a third to get the kills. Well, the starting assumption is we have a highly skilled and aggressive Fire TB soloing mana lane (we do). Not that Sed+Rook can get a lot of kills, either. The purpose of this duo is to push the defenses systematically (+ not to die). They can actually get some kills when on the defe
Yes, that's really a niche build. Just realized Cape QoT might actually outshine Cape Sedna as Rook-supporter significantly (well, defensive mechanism per se suffers -- Shield + regular Bishop heals are bad substitute for Heal 3/4 + HW 2 + HW-enhanced bishop heals, as does cooldown reduction, but tower damage potential really goes up due to Ground Spikes armor reduction, so I don't think many gankers will be tempted to try their luck
Did he buy a citadel upgrade, e.g. cur1? That should be the only thing that causes this now. No. He just went to shop. It happens roughly at 11:30 mark. Also, you'll notice he actually spends too much time pointlessly wandering between cit and shop. Here's the replay: http://www.gamereplays.org/demigod/replays.php?game=51&show=details&id=173515
TY, I'll try both options.
Played a Enhanced AI Mod v0.26.30 + Uberfix 1.3 game on Cata/High Towers while trying out Cape Sedna. Sedna (h) / Rook v UB / TB; all AI Hard (to keep leveling realistic) A few moments that need attention (both positive and negative): (1) The Rook was mostly doing okay with the towers as long as I was Cape-buffing him. No really huge tower farms, but a decent tower spam, overall. (2) At a certain point, he ported to the hp lane tower... only
@hedgie: What is the best Sedna build to use when teamed up with Rook and Fire TB in 3v3? Cape, I guess (provided Rook goes Renewal)? It's a great favor, the problem is its limited aura radius (8) requires me to be really close to Rook's arse. Curiously enough, helm auras (Vlemish, Hungarlng) are huge (20) for some reason.
Yes, those things always work. For example, I've used a modified version of your pure Ooze build while laning vs Spit/Ooze hybrids with great success. I'm quite sure any T1 hybrid UB would tear me to pieces in no time, but with mids-mids+ it worked and was quite entertaining. The 2 differences are: (1) I use Symbol of Purity instead of Blood: well, yeah, -550 hp early on, but neutralizing hybrid's biggest damage source is a greater benefit (not to menion the frustration it caus
In 3v3, Sedna with experience minotaurs. She has to invest earlier in MP and, maybe, Morale, but the trade-off is well worth it. Hauberk is also a good investment. Splitting the minotaurs, then chain-locking experience flag early on can lead to a totally overwhelming overleveling (130% exp vs 80% exp gained = game outcome decided very early on). MP, Morale, HW, Hauberk make minotaurs very durable.
Anyway, his current user name as of today is I_AM_BETTER_THAN_YOU. Heh - I know, doesn't sound like a guy that is all that passive I believe Bobby's The_Pacov now. The nickname is clearly ironical, but not offensive, so... doesn't really matter, I guess.
