Here's another one - how about more animation sequences like when you create a battleship! Do this for like a frigate - and like for a deathknight, etc. :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
Star Ranger
Can their be a check box like "repeat build" for starships? in the mid game and later I usually have certain planets always produce the same thing - it would be nice not have to selected it each time. Thanks. :p
Some ideas - How about having s supernova - like a star system explode (that could be saved by technology) and or what about planet formation (like for example in a system where there are no planets - some are created. Variable starting points - for example - I'd like to start with more than 10 points of "bonuses" and take on harder levels - now I also would assume that my score wouldn't be logged on the meta-verse (just as if you used the cheat keys). :) :) :)
guys - I think he may not know of some of the computer advantages - ones I know about - Computer automatically knows where all the good planets are. (kinda big - but manageable) Minors automatically get more cash and better planet quality than the major races. Other Major races get slighly more bonues that humans starting out (this is in normal mode - this increases with harder difficultly levels) Races don't always think strategic - they
bump - I agree - over nerfed.
I'm loving the game - but I do have a couple of missed expectations with the game. My first one is the trade routes - why is the number of trade routes the same for a small galaxy with 1 opponent and the same for a gigantic galaxy with 5 opponents. This doesn't make sense. I can understand limitations - civilizations want to restrict influence of foreign commerce - but there is no logic in the above. A better way would be to say there is a limit of 2 trade routes per galaxy size and
First - Please fix the bug where you trade some techs for a trade good and the trade good never arrives. This has been a consistant bug in the past several builds. Second - Please fix the bug that allows minor races to build wonders - they can have advanced tech - but it is very frustrating at the higher difficulty level when they are outbuilding ALL the major races in wonders. :HOT:
here are my list of bugs in 1.1a 1. influence does not seem to affect the minor civilizations. 2. computer builds 1 of a kind items after you build them. (I've seen 2 galactic stock exchanges, 3 ultra spices) 3. fix the economy - when ever I reload a saved game - my income is always different. 4. give a couple more points to the terrians starting out - then need the help to counter computer advantages. :p

influence and minor civilizations - when playing the game today - I won with a cultural victory - winning over many planets - however - one note that most of the minor races especially the fundementalists seemed "immune" from my cultural influence. :notsure:
ecky-ecky-ecky-ptang-whoop-bong. :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
Moo3 is really as bad as they say. Funny thing is I loved moo2 so much. (:(
::BUMP:: I agree cerebus!
To the developers of Galciv - Moo3 - what NOT to do in software development. THe developers of Moo3 are very clickish and their take it or leave it attitude IMHO has only one place - the trash bin. I have been extremely pleased beta testing galciv and the interactiveness and open-mindedness the galciv developers show to their fan base. 3 cheers for you. Keep up the good work. :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: Jerry
Congrads dev team - let us know how we can help more! :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
I agree - I just played for 8 hours today MOO3 and it is complex - I normally like complex games - but much of the interface and strategy is beyond fun - it's tideous. a big disappointment. :(
yep a star base can increase your range
No offense Citizen Lucian - but I think your proposal, while a valid opinion - a still a dumb idea. people who play turn based strategy games that involve galatic expansion WANT to conquer the whole galaxy as a valid victory condition. They want to expant into new technologies and pull ahead of other civilizations. They DON'T artifical limiters based on this preconceived notion that a large empire can't be managed. One thing history has tought us is that new forms of governem
I loved the battleship screen - please add more graphjics like that - then can be "stills" but one for like the corvetees, frigates, or avatars - would be awesome! Jerry :CONGRAT:
I have a 1.2 gig hz pentium III - laptop. most cut scenes are smooth - however, the doors are a bit - just a little choppy. Jerry
If your not on WIN XP - you should be.
Yep - its been crashing alot - I can't seem to get past turn 1. Jerry (:(
good job - like the first screen
It's hard to quantify - I owned most of the blue galatic resources - and I have build many star bases with all the influence upgrades. Could this be becasue I am evil (in the game - heh)? I'm goign to upgrade to 4 D tonight and then try it out . Jerry
