Quoting DsRaider, reply 55 I hear a lot about tech trees but personally don't think they have much to do with factions playing different. Just to pick out this one item - you could (potentially) do a lot with a wholly alternate tech tree. Just to name a few examples Simple re-organization so that "late game" techs come early and early techs late. Fo

You've installed Patchwork. That places you're game in the far left field from what SD originally intends. Not sure if you're recommendations are relevant to the base game...
The one thing I want to see added to the base game is the hero changes from your upcoming game, where each hero has their own tree.
Imo, I wouldn't mind if the general tree were modified to be hero specific however I really love the class trees design. Wouldn't want to lose that.
I've thought of a relatively "cheap" but interesting way to have meaningful siege units. Specifically, units that do 2X damage when attacking a city. It would be easy to do and result in a new line of thinking of units (units that are useful in different circumstances).
Is there a downside to the unit? Perhaps 0x when attacking non-city battles?

- Really excited for LH 1.6 and very glad you are taking the time to release it only once you've thoroughly gone through it. - LH 2.0 is another milestone that has me drooling. Imo, that the update is free I think has a downside. Don't get me wrong...free is awesome and appriciated BUT you'll be upgrading from 1.9 to 2.0 as if it were a regular update. Players will not have the choice to choose not to play with the changes and if the changes deviate&nbs

Without including FE:LH, I'd say spot on, though for me the order is different: 1.Master of Magic 2.Civilization IV 3.Colonization 4. Galactic Civilization II 5.Alpha Centauri For me, I think FE:LH would probably fit in around 2.5 on the list...

Probably not gonna be compatible with your old game, most likely you'll have to start a new game for all changes to take affect. Probably yes. I still would like to play as a beast lord though, it seemed like it could be fun. If we all shout loud

However, I'm looking for the 'fixed rotational building placement' before I dive back in again...so if it takes another month or longer to add in it (alon

Treaties should only be allowed if you adjacently share borders. And I'm not talking about plunking an outpost down quickly. It's should be a connecting border to your Capital City. And if that shared border is lost...for whatever reason, the treaty crumbles to dust too. And there should be consequences for breaking treaties... And roads should fall into disrepair in neutral territory....but that's another story... edit: I should toss in a big 'IMO' o
Most of your concepts aren't major concerns for me, to be honest. I don't like some parts of your concepts, for instance 7) Heroes and Summons should show up at my Sovereign. She's what it's all about in my games. Besides, Summons don't show up 'at the Sovereign', they show up wherever they are Summoned, depending on who summoned them. Makes perfect sense to me. Concept 10) is flawed. Facti

Very interesting. Question: How does this impact AI development? Presumably there cities would grow slower as a result of the population loss. Also, does this not encourage more non-military strategies...such as summoning or taming....instead of troop production? I'll download as soon as nexusmods stops being jerky to me.

I'm finding a lack of drive to the game. Once you've established a stable economy of trade...you've won the game. Just take care not to overextend. Is there something I am missing? Where is the endgame? Why can't I build walls.....fight bands of raiders....have lions, tigers, and bears roaming and causing trouble...build up a local militia...have more than one type of bridge to build...quarry out a hillside....etc, etc, etc. Don't get

Good Morning It seems as though thread history is being removed (or at least difficult to find and/or access). I cannot locate much of my previous ideas, threads, gameplay comments, etc. As such, this thread: A consolidation of previous ideas. Since the beta, I've offered many thoughts, considerations, and ideas for Fallen Enchantress. This is not to say that I am/was the only person to come up with some of these ideas....only that I've given them some conce
