Together with the new culture buffs a delivarence hit is quite strong combined with a fleet attacking. It doesn't just bring your those buffs and the 25% damage increase, it also takes away any culture advantage the enemy had at that planet. TEC loyalitst can deal with this a bit better than other factions, thanks to the nature of their new reseearches. But in my little experimenting I found that TEC rebels fall like flies to it, and Vasari wi

Bumping because I cannot find the Record-MultiPlayer file im here "C:\Users\X\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion" Edit: nevermind, and for the record, later today I may stream these and put them on youtube:)
definatly not. would be very op if it worked on capital ships.
Well I didn't say capital ships:p
How do you play these files?
Where exactly do we send in these minidumps again? I have a few.
[ The TEC ] Novalith reduced the trade/planet growth debuff to two minutes from thirty. Shiriken/Stilat Corvettes have there movement speed reduced from 450 from 500, there fleet supply brought up to 3, and hulls reduced to 300. The Kol battleship now have 4 flak banks. Reduced antimatter cost on Flak Burst to 65 from 100. Made Flak Burst target Corvettes also. Safety Override Protocol now have a 4 second indication time
Quoting MayallCommunion, reply 9The steal antimatter is nice though, I believe it works on Titans as well. Nope. only frigates and planet modules.
Really... thats retarded...
I just thought that a vasari player can Kostura the planet and drop some of his fleet in there to kill his novalith. And phase jump out the same way.
Artifacts probably don't belong in competitive play. It's too large of an element of luck. If someone finds the right artifact (the hull strength and repair artifact or the damage artifact) it's too big of a windfall for a serious game.
Yeah I figured as much, would make the divination tech useless though :(
We should probably link him to those replays guys lol.
The nice part is that advent can actually use their tier 0 (disciples) which cost only credits and metal to even it out. It also has to do with how late they get there crystal resource tech. That thing is so expensive.
80 minutes in more than enough time to get novaliths. And you can keep them from destroying your planet with the axillary government upgrade on your starbases. The AI is just a bit too fond of them at the moment...
Dude even I am fond of them at the moment. If I have the chance I build at least 3 of them, I love going eco so I do this strategy where I go eco like normal provide my partners, and invest towards teching
Btw would you go and deactivate artifacts and random planet traits for ladder play?
Im a bit meh about this because artifacts are cool, and random yes. But you invest money in what you get. Map random planet traits I would say make them all have to be discovered as well none will be inately on the planets. But most likely I think it would be best to have them not there, but it does have less of a priority then
I would rather 'tournament play' be a GOD DAM OPTION instead of zero zero zero. and. gotta stick up for all the people who abandoned sins for shitty multiplayer support reasons.
100% mirror maps are fine for TEC vs Advent (depending on size), but imba for Vasa vs TEC/Advent. Vasari neut control is factored in ship balancing, so static X neuts/side is favouring other race.
What would be a way around this do you think?
The problem seemed to fix itself o.O
I was in the beginning of a game and it just stopped working it did the error I talked about in an earlier thread. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/422004 Now I cant even play sins it just goes to a black screen. Task Manager says that it is not responding when this happens.
Alright will keep that in mind thanks.
Hmmm, autosave is on I believe. How do I turn it off.
Advent are known to have the best late game though.
Alright I can't take a picture of this because its weird. But it seems when I zoomed into the battlefield(might not be the cause). The camera would freeze and replay maybe the last 1.5 seconds of what I just saw. It like im watching a dubstep music video. Alt+Tabing out of the game fixes it, but just thought I should bring it up.
Quoting MayallCommunion, reply 16 Thats just how RTS's are sometimes, lots of maps favor different races because of their innate traits. Look at sc2 for example, certain maps with cliffs favor terran because of how retarded siege tanks are. Nothing can be done about that. Oh don't misunderstand me, I really like the idea to actually be able to make maps in the forge that are somewhat less random. But I don't th
