Reply to WB Updates Overwriting skins in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I think the question is more "Why does a fairly minor update need to have all those WB skins included?" Could there be an option to just update the program itself? To include skins in updates are just a waste of bandwith for both Stardock and it's customers.

The skin got featured, and sure, even the old one was good enough for that! Skin and screenshot are still not updated, even though I know you have tried, JJ. Maybe one of the moderators here could fix that, so I'll bring this thread back on top and maybe get some attention to it.

You can hide the default desktop icons in Windows XP with TweakUI from Microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx If you want to hide shortcuts/folders you have created yourself, you probably will have to use some software to do that.
