It sounds like you dislike additional people that like this game and want to contribute to it right?!
No, it sounds like I dislike people asking the devs to waste their time while the rest of us are waiting. It sounds like I'm not seeing the benefit to the 99.9999% of us

A few things: Capacitors mixed in to an army eventually hit a point of clearly diminishing returns. At a certain point, your army will have sufficient energy to rapidly take down a large chunk of an enemy's army per battle. Once that point has been hit, you're better off fielding more offensive units rather than any more capacitors. Caregivers are essential in any protracted engagement. Keeping your troops alive away from y
Pal, this is not silly -
I can promise you it is. You're arguing in favour of lowering performance for everyone, in order to benefit you, and your mod. You won't hit that in Vanilla without intentionally letting a match go on for a day, which again - who cares? There's actual work that still needs to be done on the game - let's not waste the
I am humbled and enlightened RomeoReject standing corrected, but in no way does my error contradict the fact that Oxford's online dictionary is the only one that defines singularity using Brad Wardell's Ideas & explanation, nor does it decrease the genius and brilliance of Brad. Do you agree?
Don't speak in third person, Brad. [e digicons]:|[/e]
Navies work for Supcom because unlike Ashes not everything hovers from the get-go. Homeworld DoK did this too. It had one faction with hover and one without, and actually looked pretty good. No navies there though for obvious story reasons. Shame that just a couple scripting flaws prevented a good campaign from being a great campaign, but I digress.
Oh, make no mistake: I agree. I'm just saying Navy could still have
Navies got the top vote, but..... really, doesn't make any sense when all the units hover anyway. You'd have to add so much to the map design, so much to the buildings, new artwork all around, and then somehow find a reason for hover units to not work over water... It just doesn't fit. Oceans / bodies of water would be a cool cosmetic-only change for armies to battle over, though. Resource nodes as archipelago, buildings over water on (simpl
I feel like healing/repair units are always underrated in RTS games. Everyone focuses so much on DPS even though healing units add so much survivability.
Oh my god, THANK YOU. Having big expensive toys is meaningless if they can't survive long enough to get to the enemy's base! Repair units for life!
It's not like in supcom where to counter a nuke you build an anti-nuke, effectively costing your opponent more money to attack then it cost for you to defend. But in Ashes the game just tells you that you can't cast the spell, so you spend nothing and take no risk where as the defender lost hundreds or those of resources trying to counter the potential of an attack.
OK, that one I'll give you: Supreme Commande
Did you try Falnass with 2.5 ? I also manage both 1st campaigns a while ago. Not the 3rd one. The difficulty was also terribly unbalanced right away for me. Btw I played and finished: all C&C games, all Warcraft games, all Starcraft games and a bunch of others. So I have some experience and judgement on RTS campaigns.
No, I haven't gone back to that specific one, and I'm not saying that the camp
I don't find the game so hard, but I think that these issues are not just "personal" and more than a nuissance.
Well, I mean, they are just personal though: You're finding it hard to remain competitive with high-level AIs who use Orbitals in a manner that you don't like. If you dislike the Orbitals, you can turn them down, or off. You can minimize Quanta. Or you can turn the difficulty down and leave all those on. The ga
So many people have asked about this sort of thing. I am scratching my head as to why stuff like "navy" makes the list when this sort of thing hasn't. It comes up again, and again, and again in various formats. I hope it comes. Seems more important than some other stuff that is on the radar.
In the current state, there is no way I could advise the game to anyone.
OK, someone's being a bit hyperbolic, aren't they? There's literally no other macro-RTS out there at the moment, no true successor to the Chris Taylor RTS games of old - except Ashes. So if someone is looking for a strategy that isn't micro-based, my suggestions can basically only be Ashes or Total War. If they say they want an RTS specifically, tha

I'm not sure I follow your logic... I mean, I also hate the orbital abilities, but then I just turn them off? And if you're finding a match too hard on the harder difficulties, why not just drop it? I mean, I could understand if you were getting stomped on Easy or something, that'd be different.
I also had this on Win 10 DX11, possibly also on DX12. This and *most* other anomalies ended when I moved to a new machine. I think the most likely relevant hardware difference was a big increase in RAM. I had 8GB and now have 64GB. I kept the same old video card, and doubt the CPU matters to this. So... if you're running 8GB that could be a contributor. Short of adding more, try increasing your p
