Dual Monitor ScreenSaver and Wallpaper in PC Hardware WinCustomize Forums

Just setup my first dual monitors. I have an ATi 9550 Videocard, so XP recognizes the setup as two monitors, not one stretched desktop (I can set different resolutions, refresh rates and my wall doesn't get stretched across both desktops, it shows correctly on each separate monitor). Is there a way or proggie to set separate walls on each monitor and is there a way to set just one monitor to go into powersaving mode and/or a screensaver? Thanks <img sr

its getting rated at 2 stars ....one of the pitfalls of being a Journeyman if no one rates your skins. I think the 3-star rating or 6 that a Journeyman's skin has when it first posts should stick, instead of being wiped out bu a single rating.

unistall windowblinds ,reboot, find ms royale on net dwnld dbl click dwnld that should work. i think that wb 4.5 does indeed mess with uxtheme because on older versions when i changed themes they just changed but now i get the ms please wait screen, which i didnot on previous versions. Please enlighten

Docklets are mini programs...the more you put on your ObjectDock, the more memory you're gonna use.

Most skins are just that. A folder containing images and code documents. The folders are zipped using unique file extensions for each program, like *wba for WindowBlinds. What program and skins are you trying to use?

Don't know if this is possible or not or maybe something like this is already happening and I'm just too dense to see it. On the main forum page, in addition to what ever parameter is being used that determines the minimum number of threads that show for each forum category, could there be a way to make it so that each category will expand if needed to show all threads that are less than 24-hrs old.

Titlebar Fonts...only available as bold...possible bug in SkinStudio Help WinCustomize Forums

Building a skin right now using SKS Pro 4.51.044. I'm using Lucida Sans Unicode set at Font Height -11, Font Weight normal and everything else disabled for both my titlebar font and my taskbar buttons font. For some reason the titlebar font will only show as bold, though SKS is telling me it's normal, in the preview and when I apply it. To fix I have to manually add FontWeight=400 to the code.

It would help to know what kind of error message you're getting. I'm using 4.5.1 Build 1034 and I had a problem importing visual styles until I figured out that it was my Norton's Protected Rcycle on my tabbed dock that was giving me grief. Conflict resolved, SKS imports just fine now.

Interesting link thanks Kona's right, when you replace your bootscreen using Stardock's Bootskin proggie you can use any pallette of 16-colours to create your image.

A screenshot would help also the name of one of the skins that is causing you your problem, if it is the skin. Another issue might be having your fonts set higher than 96dpi, since most skins are made for the standard font size.

Assistance I receive online, whether it be sales support or community support....like this forum....is generally much better than what I usually get from the bigbox retailers. I've worked for two of them (Home Depot and Sears), both in managerial and associate roles. In a sense I agree with scarebear, but I would like to define just a bit who those folks that depend on the store's survival are...it's usually not the management. What I've found
