If you truly want to select ships of different types you'll need to hold the Ctrl key to add to your current select (this can be combined with the Alt key to speed up selection) E.g. Hold Alt and click on a light frigate (all light frigates in the gravity well are now selected) Hold Ctrl + Alt and click on a colony frigate (all light frigates and all colony frigates in well are now selected) Create fleet
