I know it's a screensaver, but with all the fish talk I thought some of you might be interested in it. It's fantastic to just sit and watch the lifelike 3D fishies swimming around, and if the DesktopX ones ever got to that standard I'd have them on my desktop all the time! There's also a newer one with goldfish from the same people: http://www.lifeglobe.com/

I've started to get so bored with coming to this message board and reading nothing but thread after thread of pointless complaining and in-fighting. I've therefore taken it upon myself to find a solution to the whole big mess. It's a plan of several stages, and I think it caters for every complaint so far. Stage 1 - Ratings First, we remove the ratings system. We then have a level playing field where no one piece of work is seen to be better than another. Three mo

This attitude toward the mods/Admins reminds me of people who figure that people working in retail evidently can't get better jobs so it's ok to treat them like they're crap, regarding them as draft horses only fit to labor for the benefit of the more refined sort of folks, their "customers" i.e., "artists." As someone who currently works in reta

I've been here for quite some time now, and I've always felt that something isn't quite right. I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but it's come to the point where I just have to get it off my chest. You see, ever since I started coming here and contributing my work, I've been greeted with nothing but respect and kindness. It's driving me insane, and I want it to stop. Of course, there are those normal people who bitch and moan about everything, and thankfully they make the place

I originally signed up with Pay Pal when all one needed to be a payor was a credit card. Now I think one needs to be "validated" to spend over a cumulative cap and to do that one has to provide them with bank account info? The 'cap' is actually pretty high (over $200 at present I believe), and the validation is just a case of them making a $1 cha

Well it's installed and seems to be running well. I'm less than happy with the customer service (if that's what you could call arguing with a customer) given by dabs.com as a result of my being provided with no documentation. I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone else, and I think I'd gladly pay the little bit extra other retailers were asking just to receive some good customer service. Well first impressions aren't great. The drive arrived without any of the retail packaging, documentation or cables, despite there being no mention on the retailer's site of it being an OEM item. Luckily I have a spare SATA cable, and the power connector is a standard one, but I'm a bit concerned that I don't have any reference for the jumper settings, or for one large connector the function of which I have no clue about! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/notsure.gif" b

Actually Doomgaze, I was a part of a team who were one of the first web design outfits to embrace Flash and use it in mainstream websites. Unfortunately, the lack of users with the latest version of the Flash plugin always caused problems for us, and we ended up with a good number of disgruntled clients who didn't understand why they needed an inaccessible technology in their site. As for your '100,000 hits a month' site, can I hazard a guess that it's a site which mainly appeals to the
