Get your things Boba, we're going...
Mm, time was created by human beings as a means of measurement, nothing more... There is plenty of evidence for 'The Arrow of Time' e.g 2nd law of thermodynamics, entropy etc. A dropped drinking glass smashed on the ground won't spontaneously reassemble itself (without a net influx of energy of some sort) yet the tendency for it to</b
#962 by MadIce - 11/3/2003 7:40:20 PM On the other hand if there is no God then you might want to know where the universe came from. If that was a Big Bang then you wonder what came before that. Since in the prevailing big-bang models, space and time were created it eliminates the paradox since there was no 'before'. Time started at the
OK Everybody!! (yes all of you) stand down - problem solved... [insert emoticon for embarrassment] Deleted the 'discussion.ini file in the \program files\Stardock directory. From casual observation (not a byte by byte compare) they look(ed) identical Aaannnyhoo, I'll just shuffle away now... (how embarrassment) <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.co
I got a new one for the Stardock crew... My StardockCentral discussion list 'browser' (widget, doodad, whatever) is locking all the threads in the list, i.e I can't quote another message (no icon), and the text entry box (& 'submit' button) at the bottom of the page is missing. I usually only lurk in WC-General but I confirmed the same behaviour with other groups also. So far I've tried (unsuccessfully): Resetting the list... Deleting the SDC 'discussion'.ini file..

#828 by Kona0197 - 10/28/2003 8:37:16 PM I believe however that God is a guy because in Genesis it says God created man in his image. 'Man' (taken literally as in having a particular sex) implies 'Woman' (why shouldn't it be so) - so where is "Mrs God"? <b
I've not read this entire topic (31 pages!), so could you tell me of the proof you speak of? You want the sum total of human knowledge condensed to... what... 1 page, 2 maybe? I'm sure you live near a library? They got books other than the bible there. Check it out.
Hey, these are great! I've snaffled some for my wall
Question an evolutionist's views and they'll more than likely show you a little proof and tell you it's the best answer we've yet to find. Question a creationist's views and they'll regurgitate the Bible and tell you you're wrong. Worst of all is that the science & facts are being 'refuted' are often (as in r3fr's case) totally mis-stated, hopel
2 words: EPROM Programmer Buy, beg, borrow, steal one and someone who knows how to drive one. I'm lucky enough to have one at work. For those who don't know what it's for... it can be used to backup the entire bios chip to a file (before flashing) by physically removing the chip from the mobo and inserting into the programmer and performing a read. Then do the flash upgrade as per your downloaded instructions. If it goes t*ts up, take the chip out of the mobo
How many Guitarists to change a light bulb? One to change it and 5 more to stand around saying: "Yeah, I could've done that"
#33 by Scribe Frogboy - 10/14/2003 12:43:56 AM I really enjoy reading history and other non fiction. I just finished a great book called "A Brief History of Nearly Everything". HIghly recommend it. Even the Pope accepts that the theories of evolution have validity Also, serious students of theology do not seem to be perturbed by scientific findings. This goes all the way back to Thomas Aquinas in the 14th? 15th? century. <img src="http://images.stard
