I use BackUpMyPC by Stomp. This product is actually a Veritas program resold by Stomp. I use it every day to backup about 4 GB of data to DVD+RW. Before I got the DVD, I backed up to CD-RW. I only backup data files. If something goes wrong with an application, I would just re-install it. With todays huge hard drives, it would take forever to backup everything. I have not had the need to recover anything yet. I don't use it on a laptop, but don't know what difference t

It might be the USB port, have you tried plugging anything else into that port, or tried your mouse in another port, or even another computer?

It all depends on whether your computer shuts itself off automatically or not. If your computer doesn't automatically turn off when you "Shutdown", then you would see that message.

just hit alt+Print Screen with the start bar open alt+Print Screen is for capturing 1 window. Print Screen with out the alt is for the entire desktop. By the way, if you open the start bar, then press the alt key, the start bar will close.

All I do is open the start menu (if you want that captured), then press the "Print Screen" button on my keyboard. Then paste the captured image into a graphics program. It get's all of the items that you refer to. What is the difference between Theme manager and Winstyles? In Stardock Central, both show up and have the same descriptions. Both have the same version number also (2.00.008). Theme Manager has a date of 12/9/2003 while WinStyles has a date of 8/22/2003. Which OS are you running? If XP, does it show up in the task Manager? If so, you should be able to highlight it and tell it to "End Task". Then uninstall it. If another OS, let us know, there are ways to terminate the program. [Message Edited]

if you got lucky and they were equal on the scale then you would know which group of four (but this involves luck so it isn't applicable). OK, I get your point.

yes but you don't know if the marble is heavier or lighter so how would you know which group of four was wrong. Well, either the first two groups of four are equal or their not. If they are, it's the third group.
