For the Vista version of WindowFX in WindowFX Stardock Forums

Btw, ever since I enabled WindowBlinds skinning (instead of Aero), I've been getting intermittent errors: "Explorer has stopped working" and then it re-starts. This should probably go in a different thread....

Just applied the wonderful 'Black' skin and realized that while it skins the titlebar of Windows Media Player (WMP) in Vista, it also prevents WMP from displaying any content in the window. Basically, the central window is just a white box (although the title bar, borders and transparent area with controls all appear okay). I've tried other skins, too, but they all give the same problem. I attempted to apply partial exclusions to the WMP app: You know, "only skin title bar" and "don't s

By the way, OneNote is incredibly useful. I got Office for free at a conference, but it was the business edition that didn't include OneNote. After trying out OneNote for 30 days (via the trial software on the web site), I shelled out the big bucks to get it. It's terrific that it's actually part of the package for students. @GreenSkid, I think Zoomba means that those people who said they wouldn't upgrade from XP to Vista until SP1 was released may now decide to wait until SP2 is released. I have the same problem: WB6 keeps giving an error message stating to turn off my antivirus/etc., and reboot; but whenever I do that, WB still isn't installed, and if I run it manually, it gives the same error message again. Weather docklet hasn't updated in 3 days in ObjectDock WinCustomize Forums

Hi. Just wanted to let everyone know that the weather docklet has failed to connect to the weather server for 3 days (even when right-clicking and manually selecting 'Update Now'). Removing the docklet and restoring it does not correct the problem. My ZIP is 10003 (New York City). Any thoughts?

@Nimbin: I wasn't criticizing Vista, at all. To the contrary, I think the OS is great, and I'm sure that any service packs released will smooth out all the small issues. My criticism is with Ultimate Extras, which have failed to materialize.
