Quantum-enjoy your LCD monitor made for spreadsheets, word processing, internet surfing , solitair and mindsweeper. Those of us who arent omplaining have a wide range of systems, monitors and gaming tastes as well. Paul, where do you get your games? I've not found a money back outlet since EBX changed their (once excellent) policy. I used to return a fair amount of games but I bought 10 times more (and kept) than I returned. And I always returned them a day or two later...not like I played the game to the end and then returned it...I usually can tell a game sucks 10 minutes into it. Sometimes I'll give it another few hours to see if it gets better (99% of the time they dont.) I'd be interested to know

if you'd been reading posts on this forum for the past four months or so you would have known the resolution the game allowed. Unfortunately, looks like you bought the game first, got on the forums later (like most of us do.) I think the game was made with the majority of gamers in mind (those with standard monitors, not LCD) and the resolution is just fine on those "old fashioned monitors.) Much smaller and you cant read the print anyway. I have no idea what it would take to get resolution

Underdogs is a site with most of the games available for FREE download. Once in a while you get one that doesnt download correctly or is missing some files (Spellcross for example.) Pop ups are annoying but on aol 8.0 there is a pop up reducer....some pop ups get thru but most do not. If you dont use aol or dont have a pop up reducer and cant deal with the pop ups, even for FREE games, dont go there. Reviews? I dont give a rats butt for the reviews. Who cares about em, accurate or not? The

Bob say to Hairy: yes. Bobo use editor with original xcom. Mostly to give more money at start. It great cheat! Bobo still play xcom games on wampyre's old p100 computer. That why wampyre keep old box-so can play old games like old days.

Bobo not bother with spellcross. Him have xcoms to play and not need to unzip dozens of files with program him not heard of after searching for patch. Bobo thanking for tip, but too much work. Bobo hope Thelebk find real copy of game to play since it sounding fun.

Bobo still not play Spellcross because download not work. Only extract much zip files. To Thelebk: just type UNDERDOGS on internet browser and you should get website. Let Bobo know if having trouble. Also, if much kind, let Bobo know if you download and able to play game. Maybe tell Bobo how you figured out.

Bobo ask if mean earthmens fighting aliens or just squad based game? If means earthmens and aliens, Bobo played INCUBATION...not xcom but close. If means squad based, Bobo played SOLDIERS AT WAR and CHAOS GATE....controlling little mens in turn based fighting.
