over 50????????????????? well I just have this to say; GOOD FOR YOU! Play on! I'm over 50 and like to freak out the kids at EBX (not the kiddies buying xbox and PS2 games.) They think I'm buying games for my kids (or grandkids) but the jokes on them. I've sold all my kids for medical experiments. Should have used EBay though because i could have gotten more than they were worth. Har just kidding. Now I know I'm not alone in this world. Cheers

why do you need another survey ship? I have seen rival survey ships go right past or otherwise ignor anomolies. They will be there when your single ship gets around to them. Unlike the race for planets and resources, anomolies dont appear to be coveted by the AI.

Fist-I meant what I said when I posted Moo3 isnt all that bad....should have added "in my opinion." I also meant its nowhere near as good as GalCiv. But I conceed some poeple would think its a pile of shit :) However, I'd hate to see RABID moo bashers as much as I hated RABID Moo defenders.otherwise THIS board will become just like the incredibly sad and lame Moo board. get my drift buckaroo?
everybody keep your shorts on. different people play differently...some folks are quicker to learn than others; some play better than others etc. its not a question of playing right or wrong. Both games are great! some like one over the other for whatever reasons. Lets not turn this into a Moo board. Cheers

should be no surprise to anyone who has been lurking on or (God forbid) asking questions on the Moo forums. They have all gone way past defensiveness...a new word needs to invented for their brand of fanatical denials. I mean c'mon..the game isnt all that bad...just nowhere near as good as GalCiv and it does need massive patching, not the silly little file update they offered. But they refuse to acknowledge anybody BUT THEM saying anything negative about the game. "You cant call my sister
also note that I simply asked WHY the "patch" needed to be handled that way vs a direct download (like GalCiv bonus packs.) I did not say i didnt know how or couldnt figure it out. The MOO boys jumped to that conclusion as any question what so ever about Moo3 gets their panties in a bunch. A few posters on the board did explain why it was done that way (not a real patch-duh) and that was fine by me...question answered. However, I even got a thinly veiled insult on this board on the subject.

remember, reviewers just offer their own opinions of the game....opinions are like brains: almost everybody has one. the fact that he ranked Heroes 4 that high should tell you something. the point is, one or two lower scoring reviews wont mean that much compared to the dozens of good scores.

will these one trick ponies show up in a bigger download or bonus pack later on, or do we just download all the smaller ones as they come along? I myself would like to just download a larger pack of fixes/enhancements every now and then vs each time one comes out. Please clarify. Thanx!

wow! gab9 sounds like I did..before I ..got better. I had the same thing happen to me recently. Just built transports and kept evacuating the planet. Stargalax-youre out of line. I SIMPLY ASKED WHY, not HOW. Since I simply downloaded GalCivs update directly into my installed game. I was just wonderinf why MOO patches (if you can call that a patch) couldnt be doent the same way. A few on the Moo board had the courtesy to tell me why it had to be done that way. Cool ok fine, I had my answer. A few others insulted me...just like your THINLY VEILED insulted me. Thanks for the tip, buckaroo, but I KNOW how to get the "patch" "installed". Sa
