Oh, I forgot: My newly built terror star, after 12-20 turns with 1 mov eper turn, now has suddenly gone speed-crazy, moving 6 slots a a time! ~SDC~

Hello Frogboy. Just one question: does that include events we create ourselves and the ones we can download from the library? I mean is it ok to add them? By the way, with the latest version, in my current game, I'm having CTD if I go to the stat screen and click on the Yor. I have 2 or 3 saves of this game (I was checking that the crash would always happen at that point, no matter what I did before -- and it does). Would it be helpful if I email it to you? or are you already aware
I mean delete them fromthe galciv folder. ~SDC~
Maybe you can delete some of the events you think may be overpowered. Maybe someone more experienced with moding can help you more. ~SDC~
I think I read somewhere that when he recolonized the planet, some time later the Draginor were back :sniff!: ~SDC~
I already have a terror star, but still don't have the planetary destruction (I think that's the name) tech yet. Do I have to search it first? (I don't want to move it to a hostile sector and then having to wait before attacking -- things are a bit desperate against the Yor :sniff!: ) ~SDC~
Got mine today (Paris - France), in the morning mail :CONGRAT:
I think a little more often wouldn't be bad. Something in the lines of what travathian (#14) was suggesting. But maybe not everyyear. One UP meeting every three years, and 1 or 2 (randomized) minor issues in between. And I agree it should depenf on the galaxy size as well. And why, when one of the players is attacked (me ;p ) why can't he call a UP meeting? To vote if somekind of help should be given (kind of humanitarian help?), or if no help should be allowed, or if the others sho
I have to agree with Godzilla & Dearmad. Now it does seem a little too easy. Although I'm not a very experienced player, in my first games I really had some difficulties keeping morale up. That made me carefully choose beetwin social productions, and event tech research since I was often in need of new morale-improving-buildings. And even with them and low taxes I would have, from time to time, lots of red angry faces all over the place. In my current game, first since 042, I didn't even bo
I noticed the same thing. (all AIs at bright -- I think). The drengin offered to trade techs with me. I had some hard time trading with the AI before in the game, so I rejected his offer to test. I then offered the same tech he wanted (in exchange for the tech he offered). He refused :( . I only trade now with a civ I want to help, since I get robbed everytime I want the offer to be accepted (because I have to give so many more things than "usual"). On the other hand, maybe my diplomats wer
I downloaded from stardock too. Still no news from the CD. But since we can play without it, and that for me the stardock download/update system is working just fine, I cannot really complain. On my way to play again :CONGRAT: ~SDC~
I don't have much experience with this game yet (but I'm catching up :d ) so maybe I am wrong. Sometimes, when I offered a peace treaty, the AI player would refuse, specially if it has been beating me up all over the galaxy. In that case the only way I could save myself was offering (with the peace treaty) some "war reparations" (don't matter who started, the looser always end up paying for being conquered). The contrary was also true: when I managed some succesful strike, when offering peac

Well Cptn Chaos and Nirvana, thks for your fast reply. I'll try stacking my transports in a huge attack. :d Today is a good day to die... See you Pablo I just noticed, you wrote combat transport. Is there a diference between them and normal transport (except defence, hitpoints)? ~SDC~
Hello everyone. (sorry for the future english spelling mistakes: I'm a brazilian married to a russian and living in France...) There is something I don't quite understand in planetary invasions: does the whole population of the planet count as defending soldiers? If so, if I understand correctly, then the only way to take a planet is killing everyone in it !? :notsure: And if that's the way it is, how many trasports does it take to manage to succesfully invade a planet? I hav
