I can't help but be reminded of the B'rer Rabbit story where he pleads 'Please don't throw me in that briar patch!' Seems almost as if McCain put out the bait and the Media and Dems couldn't wait to throw Palin 'in the briar patch'. Now that things have gotten bloody, Obama has been forced into the position of 'taking off his gloves' .. what is this? .. about the second or third time he has said that? .. and getting into that old time, knock down, drag out, mud-slinging politics
How about the guy who wrote the software? Seems to me they would know more than anyone in regards what images can and can't be used and would save us all "a lot" time in trial and error trying to figure it out...
Who did develop this? .. and is that individual still around/on the team?
I have satellite and cable here ... no need for a converter box. I would be curious to know the percebtage of people that don't have either cable or satellite. I'm guessing it is pretty low.
Ahhh, always sorry to hear news like this. [e digicons]-_-[/e] A friend played Ummagumma for me right after it came out; I've been a fan ever since.
Congrats! [e digicons][/e]
Saw a bunch that I recognized and quite a few that I watched as a kid. Always liked westerns. Thanks for the link to memory lane, Philly ;)
Glad to hear you came out ok, Zubaz. Houston got it worse than us. The 'eye' passed over us about 3:00PM, so we had lots of east wind earlier and then west winds as it headed to the northeast. We had approx 40mph winds with 60 mph gusts and lots of rain. No damage for us but a lot of people with power out and some with trees down on their houses and vehicles. Koasati probably got it worse than us. He got the east and southeast side of the storm with some pretty bad squalls and
Just FYI, having the 'last reply' in a post no longer determines the Edit button appearing or not appearing.
What is the criteria for the Edit button appearing or not appearing? I was under the impression that the Edit button should always appear, but fail to give the poster the ability to edit after a predetermined time lapse or if someone posts subsequently. From your statement, it sounds as if the factor

Obviously, there wouldn't be the ability to edit now due to someone posting after me.When I posted this:
No edit button at
Similar issue here; only the download says 'Starting' then stops almost immediately and goes back to Update available. Is there a resolution for this? (other than using SDC)
Update: Impulse downloaded and installed an update. WB update worked afterwards. Don't know what changes were in the Impulse update, but it fixed the WB update problem. ;)
Haha, and naturally I have an edit button on my last post to this thread. Same config. Did not clear cache, cookies, log out or anything; in short, nothing changed on my end.
No edit button at all on my last post to a different thread. Posted this morning September 12, 2008 07:42:50 I'm still the last post on that thread XP Pro SP2 Firefox 3.01
The current Beta for Icon Packager 4 is being tested through Impulse at this time. If you would like to participate in the beta you will need to download through Impulse.
Thanks for the clarification ;)
It sounds to me like you should use Impulse, for games only, and SDC for everything else.I for one use both at the present, and want it kept that way.
Seabass, I'm still not seeing the latest Iconpackager in SDC (last version showing is dated 6-6-08). Is this something on my end? Or has it still not been released to SDC? Maybe I'm misunderstanding this thread but as I understand it, only games are being held back from SDC?
Congrats, promoted people! [e digicons][/e] Goldwing, forget about it. Some people get promoted; some don't. It's not a reflection of you but of the promoters. ;)
Hey Pictoratus, i havent read Liseys Story, how is it??
It's good, although a bit different from the usual Stephen King. More psychological horror and inner demons than external phenomenon.
