Never mind. I found the upgrade link whereas I was looking at the basic purchase link before. ~SDC~

I'm very confused. I thought that Gal Civ owners could get Drengi.net for $30. When I click on the "Buy" option it prices it at $69.95. I'm really only interested in The Political Machine but figured I'd try what else they have (I tried Stellar Frontier; didn't like it). Is $70 the only price available now for Drengin? ~SDC~
Cool. For some reason that bug annoys me. ~SDC~
"The other races are content to see the sovereignty of other nations be undermined by invaders, so long as they're not the ones being attacked." Kind of like Tony Blair.... ~SDC~
Orbital Biosphere won't build as it pulls up the information for an Orbital Hospital. ~SDC~
I don't seem to see new subjects from me being created, but there is a problem with this improvement. It won't build because the Social Queue thinks it's an Orbital Hospital. ~SDC~
When you are building an Orbital Biosphere the Social queue says Orbital Hospital, even if you already have one built. Does this have any adverse effects on the game? ~SDC~
Did I miss the special offer to Drengin.net? I didn't get a chance to subscribe due to my schedule at home and I keep hearing about $20, but on the website it says $69.95 or something like that. What do I need to do at this point to become a Drengin.net member? ~SDC~
As long as it doesn't get too smart! I can't seem to get the opponents to buy any tech that actually lets me make a profit. They all want it for less than retail! ~SDC~
You mention monkies and the next thing you know Dubya will show up and start doing his impressions: http://www.bushorchimp.com/pics2.html ~SDC~
I have the latest version 1.03. It's the windowed version that came out after 1.03.054, or whatever the regular version is currently called. ~SDC~
Oi. ~SDC~
Yes, I started the game under 1.03. It's completely wacky. I may be showing a current deficit of 1 BC but my treasury will lose 50 BC. I don't understand what's going on. It does to be showing the 5 BC starbase maintenance in my Military spending. ~SDC~
Is there a way to tell how much maintenance a given ship is costing you? ~SDC~
Uh, thanks, I think, Windscion. ~SDC~
OK, in the latest windowed version something weird seems to be happening to my treasury. I have a budget surplus of 40 BC, but after hitting End Turn my treasury only increases by 10 BC. Nothing is being built to increase maintenance and it still says I'm making 40 BC. What's up with this? ~SDC~
OK, here's another one I don't understand: Research. This ability affects how fast your civilization researches new technologies. Half of this ability is put towards free bonus research production and the other half is added to your overall research production. I'm the type of player who always clicked on my MoO2 planets to see how it was calculating my research, etc., so I'm starting to get a little antsy about not understanding how this game calculates things. Not that I unde
In reading through the new manual, I see the following: Social Production. The ability affects how much production can be put into social projects. Half of this ability is provided as bonus production (i.e. production that doesn’t cost any money). Military Production. Same as above but for military projects. What does this mean? Assuming no boni, what determines how much can be put into Social and Military spending. I'm assuming that this would be referred to as 100%,
I can't believe that Monkeydent is not the standard form for Bush. He looks more like a chimp than a Drengin does! ~SDC~
As a followup, the Monkeydent Bush is more of a threat to Americans than anyone. ~SDC~
"As for the US disregarding the UN on the war in Iraq, how many more years and resolutions would it have taken to the UN to accomplish what the US did in weeks?" What exactly needed to be accomplished? Is this just American chest thumping? How was Iraq a threat to your lifestyle or mine? ~SDC~
Travis, Are you going to tell me that it hasn't been the current administration responsible for the Department of Homeland Schmuckery, as well putting aside laws regarding the right of an arrested person to speak to an attorney, and not to be held indefinitely without proof of a crime? ~SDC~
Travis, It has been the right wing administration that has decided to erode our personal freedoms and initiate a police state. ~SDC~
Nephrinn, OK. I will try updating after finishing the current game. Can you say what it was that you changed in the event? I'm just curious. ~SDC~
The lemming, right wing mentality here is deeply disturbing. Greed and warmongering will be the downfall of America. ~SDC~
